The Double Eagle M61 Spring Action Sniper is a lightweight and effective Airsoft Sniper Rifle that works by pulling back the Bolt to cock the Spring and feed a BB into the chamber. Unlike most up-market Sniper Rifles, this doesn't require any tinkering out of the box besides setting the Hop Up and using a high quality BB. Description

The Double Eagle M61 is made of a lightweight but tough Polymer that keeps the overall weight down but still feels good in the hands, and can survive a good amount of abuse. The Outer Barrel Assembly, Receiver and Bolt/Trigger Group are made from Alloy to give the Rifle a realistic weight and to enhance its strength. Coming out of the box at a relatively high power (~466FPS w/ 0.2g BBs) it is good enough to take straight to an Airsoft Skirmish and get using. The Gun features an Adjustable HOP Unit which can be used in conjunction with heavyweight BBs (0.3g+) to achieve a stable and consistent Flight Path. Simply adjust the HOP Slider on the externals of the Handguard to make changes.

The Receiver features a 20mm Rail which means you can install a Sight/Scope on it. As this is a very common Rail System, you will find that 95% of Airsoft Scopes will fit. Some assembly is required out of the box; simply fit the two halves of the Gun together and use the integrated screws in the body (which can't fall out) to secure them together. On the underside of the Rifle you will find two solid Lugs which can either be used to connect a Sling (a Keyring Loop through each lug will work great), or to attach a Harris Style Bipod to the front of the Rifle, for stable, aimed shots.

The Rifle is very simple to operate, needing only the Magazine to be filled and the Bolt cycled fully to take a shot. A Trigger Lock Safety can be engaged near the Bolt to stop the Rifle from firing. Whether you're looking at getting your first Sniper Rifle, need a base for a lightweight Sniper Rifle project, or you just want to jump straight into some Airsoft Sniper action without a huge amount of setup then the Double Eagle M61 Spring Action Sniper is just right for the job.

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.

FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
