The FMA Next-Generation IHPS Combat Helmet Replica is a flawless reproduction of the real thing, constructed from high density polymer and equipped with an NVG mount up front and quick detach 20mm Picatinny accessory rails on each side.
The real steel version of this helmet was first issued to the US Army in 2019, seeing service in Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria. Known as the IHPS (Integrated Head Protection System), the full real steel setup includes eye protection, a full face shield and an optional additional armour plate. Fingers crossed all these cool additions are made available to us Airsofters in the future!
The set includes the helmet itself with its pre-installed accessory rails and NVG mount, an IHPS-specific helmet cover with counterweight straps and velcro built-in, a set of user-configurable internal padding and external velcro panels so you can add morale or ID patches and customise your helmet. The innovative boltless suspension means the weight is reduced when compared to older MICH/ACH designs and you will never need to tighten the bolts up.
