Description

The SA80/L85 has historically not received much love in the Airsoft world. Very few manufacturers attempt to build them, and their complicated design usually leads to difficulties down the line. However, G&G have risen to the task and excelled themselves in creating the L85A2 replica that we deserve. Weighing in at 3.95kg, this replica actually slightly exceeds the unloaded weight of the real thing. Featuring realistic construction such as the stamped steel and heat-treated receiver along with high quality Polymers on the grips, this weapon is the closest you can possibly get to owning a real L85A2 without signing up. The weapon has received the G&G treatment by way of an Electronic Trigger Unit, making the trigger pull light, pleasant and consistent. The ETU also helps prevent gearbox locking when rapid firing on single shot, as well as preventing the classic fault of trigger contact failure. The weapon also features a MOSFET which allows for the use of 11.1v batteries. The rate of fire when using 11.1v is absolutely insane, and when coupled with the piston-driven electric blowback makes for one of the most fun shooting experiences you can have in Airsoft at the moment.

**Special Instructions**

The carry handle is for cosmetic look only, and should not be used to carry the rifle, the rifle is too heavy to sustain the weight of it on just the handle. Do not carry this rifle with what is the rear sight system on the L85 airsoft rifle.

The externals of the replica are metal where they would be on the real world gun. This includes things like the outer barrel, handguard, and receiver. If a real world gun has polymer parts then the gun will still be marked as full metal externals, examples of this would be an M4, where the Stock and Pistol grip are always made from Polymer.

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.

FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
