G&G Armament TR16 10" GMS MK.I GT Advanced M4/AR-15 AEG

This rifle is optimal for nearly all Airsoft scenarios, not too long for CQB and not too short for outdoor engagements. If you're rocking a special forces-style loadout, this Airsoft AEG will easily slot right into your kit, like it was meant to belong there. It is designed to be effective, with no flashy visuals, just pure performance. Its internals match this idea, with upgraded parts and a preinstalled GATE ASTER ETU.

Starting at the tip of the 12" outer barrel, we are treated to a steel three-prong flash hider, which produces a nice ring when you tap one of the prongs. If this isn't to your taste, you can remove it to reveal 14mm CCW threading underneath (undo the grub screw first). This allows you to mount a muzzle device of your choice, such as a tracer unit or suppressor.

Moving rearwards, we reach the 10" aluminium M-LOK handguard. This boasts 4 M-LOK attachment slots on the 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions on the handguard. Up top, there is a 20mm Picatinny rail that runs back to the 20mm railed receiver, creating a long section of attachment space for any manner of optic setup.

Sitting atop the Picatinny rail is a pair of preinstalled iron sights. These boast G&G's most recent iron sight design, a combination sight which offers a light-enhancing open sight when flipped down or an adjustable aperture sight when flipped up. The front light-enhancing insert is red, and the rear inserts are green, ensuring you never mix up the sight index points when shooting pumped with adrenaline. When raised, the aperture sights can be adjusted for windage and elevation without tools via the drum on the right side of the rear sight and in the centre of the front sight.

Close to the receiver, the handguard has QD sling sockets on either side. These sockets are functional with traditional QD points. This is perfect for setting up a two-point sling to help carry the rifle around the battlefield. Just behind the QD points, there are beautiful engravings of the M-LOK logo, G&G logo and other marks

As we come to the receiver of the G&G Armament TR16 10" GMS MK.I GT Advanced M4/AR-15 AEG, we can take note of its familiar M4/AR-15 style layout, making it an easy transition in terms of training if you're already accustomed to running an AR platform in-game. The charging handle has an extended design, positioned at the top rear of the receiver, which can be pulled back to lock the mock bolt carrier back. To release the mock bolt carrier, hit the "ping pong paddle" style bolt release on the centre left of the receiver and enjoy the satisfying metal-on-metal clank of it closing!

The fire selector is of the standard M4/AR-15 layout, with a 3-position selector switch located above the pistol grip on the left side, offering safe, semi-auto and full auto. The selector has a 90-degree throw between each fire mode, allowing the control to be used swiftly while minimising the chances of accidentally knocking the selector out of place. Being equipped with the GATE ASTER ETU, these fire modes can be programmed with alternatives, from burst mode to binary trigger and more!

The pistol grip is a unique G&G design, boasting a grippy external surface, a low-profile palm rest that reduces wrist fatigue when shooting with modern techniques. With its unique style and pattern, it's perfect for gripping in all weather conditions. Although it is a great design, the grip can be swapped out for any M4/AR-15 AEG pistol grip, an ideal feature for the customisation addicts!

At the rear of the receiver, we're equipped with the prolific M4/AR-15 buffer tube, a 6-position example made from alloy, allowing the pre-installed GOS-V15 sliding stock to be adjusted to suit any body type or loadout. Sandwiched between the rear of the receiver and the buffer tube, we're also treated to an ambidextrous sling plate made from steel, ideally suited to conventional slings and those equipped with an HK hook. Being made from steel means this sling point is easily sturdy enough to support the weight of the rifle, even when decked out with accessories.

The GOS-V15 sliding stock is one of the highlights of the build, a fantastic-looking stock design combining many convenient features of the best AR-15 sliding stocks in the real steel world. The adjustment lever of the GOS-V15 is a low-profile example inspired by the real steel MOE-SLS stock, allowing for easy adjustments while keeping the lever clear of snags and obstructions.

On each side, the GOS-V15 features steel QD sling sockets, ready for QD sling swivels to be added to mount an ultra-modern, quick-removable sling setup. The butt plate is serrated and made from grippy rubber for maximum wet-weather traction, and the cheek pieces are comfortably sloped in a similar manner to the legendary Crane stock, though they are much slimmer to promote in-game agility and reduce equipment snags.

The battery compartment is inside the buffer tube and accessible through the rear of the GOS-V15 stock. To access the compartment, simply press the tab on the top of the butt plate and rotate it by 90 degrees in either direction. Inside the buffer tube, you'll find a mini-Tamiya battery connector to which you connect your choice of battery. We recommend an 11.1V 1450mAh Stock Tube Battery for an easy fit and solid performance.

On the inside, the new  TR16 10" boasts 8mm ball bearing bushings and a 25,000 RPM high-speed motor and throws them into a new reinforced gearbox. It keeps the replica performing well and reliably. G&G rifles are well regarded for their solid internal parts, which perform consistently even after many game days.

The G&G Armament TR16 10" GMS MK.I GT Advanced M4/AR-15 AEG is pre-wired with the Gate ASTER MOSFET/ETU, which provides superior electrical efficiency, protects your battery from reverse polarity and has a whole host of advanced smart functions which can be unlocked by using the Gate Control Station app, the Gate Blu-link, the Gate USB-link or the Gate Programming card (available separately).
