Description

The polymers used on the lower receiver are both durable and tough, and have a pleasingly high quality feel to them. The use of polymer for the stock, lower receiver and grip results in a fairly substantial weight reduction, making the Tango T96 considerably lighter than many other sniper rifles - even with the scope and bipod mounted. The T96 is a brilliant choice for Airsofters who like to remain light on their feet.

The Tango T96 is bundled together with a 4x32 scope that affixes to the top 20mm rail, and a bipod that connects to the front mounting lug. This means that the Tango T96 is an Airsoft sniper that's excellent for those Airsofters wanting to start sniping without needing to buy anything else, and is a great option for Airsofters who don't want to fully commit to the sniping role, or for those that want to stay as lightweight and manoeuvrable as possible.

The 4x32 is a basic beginner scope but is perfect for Airsoft ranges of engagement, providing a good balance between field of view and magnification. Also included with the T96 are two magazines, meaning that you'll have 56 rounds ready to go out of the box - saving the headache of trying to reload your magazines in-game, and it means you can save buying spare magazines for another day when you've lost them or realised that you're a terrible shot.

The T96 uses a standard M4 style retractable stock and pistol grip, rather than a traditional rifle stock, offering a platform which is ergonomically designed, easy to manoeuvre and familiar to many Airsofters. The retractable stock functions flawlessly, efficiently snapping into each position and providing a sturdy shooting platform. The bolt is similarly engineered, operating smoothly each time it is cycled, and is enjoyable to use. The T96 is faster to operate than most Airsoft sniper rifles as it only requires a very small turn to unlock, meaning when you need that instant follow up shot you can cock the rifle quickly and land the hit.

Cocking the weapon is incredibly easy as it requires limited effort. In comparison to other bolt actions, the Tango T96 can be chambered and fired far more quickly, as the bolt almost feels like a straight pull action. Also included in the box is a speedloader, unjamming rod and Allen Keys to adjust the Hop-up and also disassemble the body.

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.

FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
