Description

The iconic F226, used around the world by a whole host of countries included the British Forces from 1985 all the way to the present day, this variant is a favourite of the Navy SEALs, thanks to it's front rail for a host of tactical functionality. WE has been well known for their top quality pistols over the years and continuing with that pedigree they bring us their 226 replica, constructed from tough, but lightweight polymer, with an alloy slide, the pistol brings us an array of modern features to keep you ahead of the game when skirmishing, whether you're using this as a primary for CQB or practical pistol shooting, or as a trusty sidearm.

At the very front of the barrel we can see a 11mm thread, which when used in conjunction with a thread adapter gives you the option to attach a myriad of accessories and tactical equipment, such as silencers, tracers units and flash hiders; Whatever you think suits you (or the mission) best.

One of the main draws of this particular model is the front 20mm Picatinny rail, again giving you the choice of a variety of tactical equipment such as torches, lasers or even grenade launchers, meaning you'll always be able to surprise the competition when skirmishing.

The slide is constructed from sturdy alloy, with a great feel when racking, which is aided by deep linear cut grooves on either side, which provide plenty of purchase, when racking the pistol, while remaining comfortable enough to not hurt your hands from over-zealous racking!

Above the alloy slide we can see the front and rear sights, being white dot U type ironsights, which with a bit of practice prove to be accurate and quick to line up, even in those quick draw situations, when you need to get the drop on someone!

The trigger is a double-action design, meaning that cocking the hammer / pulling the trigger without working the slide will still fire the pistol. This is great for those who like to have their Sidearm in a Holster with a round in the chamber, but want to minimise the risk of accidental discharges. The de-cocking lever is functional on this replica, and will let the hammer fall back to its neutral position without firing the pistol, which again, is great for those who like to err on the side of caution when operating their pistol.

The pistol features an adjustable HOP Unit, which is accessed by removing the Slide from the Frame. To do this, simply remove the magazine, turn the slide release lever downwards and pull the Slide forwards and off the frame. You may need to jiggle the slide as you turn the lever. The gear wheel to adjust the HOP can be found underneath the outer/inner barrel assembly, and is used to add backspin to your BBs, improving their flight path. Some experimentation will be required, as the 'perfect setting' will be different for every Airsoft site and BB weight.

The pistol features a more up to date grip, with a straighter profile than other traditional P226 for a better grip for glove users, with the mag being quick to load and blends seamless with the grip.

The pistol comes branded 'F226' and 'SEAL TEAMSIX' on the Grip. This is a great purchase for any Airsoft skirmisher wanting to do a modern British loadout, or for a Player with a black loadout and wants a matching weapon.

So if you are looking for a modern pistol with a host of functionality, options for accessories and ergonomic design, you can unleash your inner SEAL by keeping one of these bad boys close. The F226 Railed is perfect for those tight CQB environments or as a reliable sidearm for when you primary runs empty.

The externals of the replica are metal where they would be on the real world gun. This includes things like the outer barrel, handguard, and receiver. If a real world gun has polymer parts then the gun will still be marked as full metal externals, examples of this would be an M4, where the Stock and Pistol grip are always made from Polymer.
