Description
Hi-Capa 4.3 owners looking for a slide upgrade have plenty of options available, but very few that provide a combat pistol look. The Hi-Capa was designed for competition shooting, but many modern tactical training schools have recognized the utility of a Hi-Capa in 9mm for combat, especially for those who dislike the trigger of Glock pistols and prefer the security of manual safeties. The STI COSTA VIP slide from Airsoft Masterpiece is here to turn the tried and tested competition dominating Hi-Capa pistol into a combat sidearm!
The ports usually found on Hi-Capa slides have been replaced with discrete fluting on the top surface and the corners, allowing the weight to stay low whilst keeping the dirt out. The rear of the slide features angled serrations, providing ample grip when racking the slide. The serrations are nice and deep for gloved use; remaining effective even if the slide is covered in mud or wet with rain. The slide also features a slight reduction in width at the front, allowing the pistol to be easily and quickly holstered, even on the move! The angle of this cut-out matches perfectly with the rear serrations, giving the pistol a sleek yet subtle style. What's more? The COSTA VIP slide is extremely lightweight, being just over half of the weight of a standard 4.3 Hi-Capa slide, and will increase the gas efficiency and cyclic rate of any pistol it is installed on!
The COSTA VIP slide is compatible with TM based Hi-Capa 4.3 pistols, though it will fit best on the original Tokyo Marui. With Tokyo Marui clones such as KJ Works, Raven, and WE some modification may be necessary to install this slide. The slide is cut for TM Hi-Capa 4.3 sights, and will not fit Hi-Capa 5.1 sights due to the difference in the rear sight design.
