The ASTER II electronic trigger unit replaces your conventional trigger contacts with optical sensors, allowing for 250 different trigger sensitivity settings, burst and binary fire modes and a plethora of other functions to be programmed in using either the trigger and fire selector or the Gate Control Station App. Other programmable options include adjustable pre-cocking and adjustable active braking; perfect for the techy types to set their primary up to suit practically any build objective.
This set also includes the Gate QUANTUM 2 CNC trigger which is compatible with M4/AR-15 AEGs but unfortunately won't work with SMG-5 or G3 platforms. When installed, the Quantum 2 trigger offers 250 trigger sensitivity options via the ASTER II's optical sensors and also includes a grub screw to provide over-travel adjustment. Constructed from CNC-machined aluminium, the Quantum 2 looks great and allows the ASTER™ to take full advantage of its optical trigger sensors and tune the trigger feel to suit your exact requirements.
The ASTER II is compatible with any version 2 gearbox-equipped AEG and can also be used with the Gate PULSAR Single-Solenoid HPA Engine if you add the ASTER II-specific HPA cable. The GATE ASTER II Bluetooth® offers a unique opportunity to gain a tactical advantage thanks to an extremely fast trigger response, a whopping 343 different fire mode combinations, adjustable pre-cocking, adjustable active breaking and much, much more! One of the main differences between the ASTER II and the original is its built-in Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, allowing you to adjust your settings using the versatile Gate Control Station app without the need for a BlueLink dongle or USB link. Midway through a game day and fancy running burst instead of full auto? Whip your phone out and you can set your ASTER II up to suit your needs in seconds!
The set includes its own specific CNC trigger, known as the GATE Quantum 2. The Quantum 2 trigger is an updated version of the original Quantum, constructed from CNC-machined aluminium and now equipped with a grub screw to limit trigger overtravel. The Quantum 2 allows the ASTER II to take full advantage of its optical trigger sensors while giving your primary a discrete style up with a modern flat trigger. If you prefer a standard milspec trigger, you'll be pleased to learn that the ASTER II can be used with any M4 AEG trigger, even old-fashioned ones!
The ASTER II's smart fuse protects your AEG’s battery, motor, and the controller itself, even in case of reverse battery connection. This feature, along with the optical sensors and multi-layer PCB with EMC shield, makes the ASTER II Bluetooth the most durable drop-in unit on the market. You choose how to configure the ASTER™ simply via the trigger or through the Gate Control Station app, thanks to its built-in Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity!
As with other ETU/MOSFET systems, you will need a certain amount of expertise to properly install the ASTER II without damaging its delicate optical sensors. We recommend consulting a tech unless you are very confident you can install the ASTER II properly, as we cannot offer returns on parts damaged during installation.
Compatibility-wise, this version of the ASTER II is designed for version 2 gearbox AEGs and single solenoid HPA engines, requiring the ASTER II HPA Cable (sold separately) to be used with Gate's PULSAR Single Solenoid HPA Engine. The included Quantum 2 trigger works with M4/AR-15 platforms but you can still use the ASTER II with your standard trigger in an SMG-5/MP5 or G3 AEG replica.

Upgrades and Downgrades should only be undertaken by experienced players, or Airsoft Technicians. Please note, changing any internal parts of a weapon voids its warranty unless done in-house by our staff.
Please ensure that when fitting parts the part purchased is the correct part, as once a part has been fitted we cannot accept return.
We do know that players love to tinker, so we're here to give you help should you require it, and if needed you can get in touch with our workshop for more help!
Unique Parts
Please note that some parts may be unique to a specific brand of weapon. For example: Parts for an ASG M4A1 may not fit an ICS M4A1.
Parts from the same brand typically have a high chance of fitting, though be warned, some replicas use unique parts, so please ensure the part will fit before you attempt to fit it.
