Description

Lancer Tactical are really bringing the heat here with the LT-29 Enforcer Needletail, making use of the innovative Lancer Tactical "Alpha" stock; Is this a Bullpup? No! It's a built-in spare mag system, for super quick and speedy reloads.

The ultra-slim 6-inch M-LOK handguard with QD sling sockets and unique receiver feature skeletonised, weight-reducing ports throughout, making this rifle as light as a feather (metaphorically speaking).

You can be sure you'll stand out from the crowd as the already unique looking LT-29 boasts it's outer barrel and many small trim components being finished in bright matte metallic colours, leaning into the competition shooting style of this AEG and letting the rifle's style really pop!

Beginning with the front, we see the M4/AR15 birdcage flash hider, finished in matte black and attaches to the rifle's 14mm CCW male barrel threading. Not flashy enough for you? No worries, as it can be replaced with a muzzle brake, suppressor or tracer with ease thanks to its use of the standard 14mm CCW male barrel threads. The barrel itself is 6 inches in overall length including its threads and is finished in bright metallic colours adding some sweet contrast keeping your loadout flashy.

Negative space is the name of the game with the Needletail's compact handguard, with cut grooves minimizing weight and giving a high speed low drag dynamic. Featuring M-LOK  attachment slots at the 3, 6, 9 and 12 o'clock positions with two sections of 20mm Picatinny rail at the front and rear for customisation options as big as your imagination. Noticeably the foregrip is angled diagonally downwards, allowing for as much rail as possible without getting in the way of potential barrel attachments  Additionally, the use of negative space attachment keeps the Needletail easy to point quickly and increase movement during run and gun style gameplay.

The 20mm rail section at the front provides a spot for the included flip-up front iron sight to be mounted, and the rear section meets the receiver rail seamlessly for a sleek, monolithic style and provides additional rail space for larger optical sights to be mounted.

A QD sling socket can be found at both the front and the rear offering users the opportunity to mount QD sling swivels and use a flexible sling setup which can be installed or removed in a flash.

Moving on to the receiver we can find an M4/AR15 style body with weight reducing cut grooves(aka "speed holes") precisely machined; The LT-29 really trims the fat wherever it can! The sides of the magazine well have been cut out, and the left side of the upper receiver has 10 angled ports providing a dynamic look, further reducing the weight and giving us a glimpse at the flashy colour contrasted gearbox inside. All the cuts are perfectly finished and machined with precision and have been designed in such a way as to not compromise the receiver's strength. Known as a skeletonised receiver, it is usually found on high-performance real steel competition rifles which have been optimised for pure speed of handling. This will certainly raise eyebrows at a skirmish as this type of receiver is rare to find on Airsoft guns, and will definitely get the Needletail noticed whenever it rolls up to kick some ass!

Many of the smaller components and controls on the receiver have been finished in the same eye catching matte metallic colour as the outer barrel. The dust cover, magazine release, trigger guard, trigger, forward assist button, charging handle, fire selector and mock bolt catch are all finished in colour, spicing the looks with eye catching style; Gone are the days of plain old yawn worthy M4/AR15 receivers.

The trigger guard is an enlarged design with relief cuts on either side to provide a comfortable index point on which you can rest your trigger finger when it isn't busy double-tapping the enemy. The trigger of the LT-29 is a flat "speed" style trigger, with a small ledge at the bottom to help keep your finger where it needs to be during rapid semi-auto fire or long and unmerciful full-auto bursts.

With an enlarged design, the charging handle allows fast access to the LT-29's rotary adjustable HOP-up unit, which is housed within the receiver and accessible through the ejection port when the charging handle is held back. The rotary HOP-up design is the latest for the M4/AR15 platform and improving upon the gear adjuster by providing more direct pressure on the HOP nub, minimising the chances of side to side deviation. The rotary adjuster also holds its setting more effectively in the long term and allows for more precise adjustments to be applied. This top notch HOP-up design is paired with a 6.03mm tight bore inner barrel, provides greater air efficiency and better accuracy at long range. If you thought these parts were only available as aftermarket upgrades, think again!

Found on the lower receiver, just above the pistol grip, The fire selector of the Needletail provides three modes of fire with a 90° throw between each mode. This selector is a well-liked design and is quick to use whilst still requiring a positive movement to rotate which minimises the chances of accidentally selecting the wrong mode when working at pace. Naturally, the fire selector is finished in the same metallic gold as is present on the trim parts of the LT-29, and the finish feels robust and hard-wearing with little chance of wearing down over time and losing its good looks.

Known as Lancer Tactical "Alpha" stock, The Needletail's stock and grip setup is an original lancer tactical design with a wealth of interesting and forward-thinking features to keep you ahead of the game. The stock and grip are combined into a single piece, known as a "thumbhole stock", it has the advantage of providing extra strength in comparison to a separate stock/grip setup. The Alpha stock retains the adjustability of the original M4 buffer tube mounted sliding stock, offering 5 positions of adjustment via the adjustment lever found at the toe of the stock.

QD sling sockets appear on either side of the stock, which can be paired with QD sling swivels and the front sling sockets for a modern sling setup, able to be quickly dethatched at lightning speed. At the top of the stock, we can see a crackle textured cheek rest with a smooth finish providing a comfortable cheek rest and perfect sight alignment, so no matter how intense the skirmish get you can be sure your head, cheek and neck can rest easy. The same crackle texture is provided on the front strap of the grip, keeping the LT-29 comfortable to hold with or without gloves. Right at the back, we can find a rubber butt plate with inverted pyramidal checkering to keep the Alpha stock tightly gripped to your shoulder regardless of the weather conditions.

For a totally unique innovation, the Alpha stock boasts the built-in "ready mag" system, allowing you to carry an extra magazine on your rifle, granting instant access for emergency reloads. positioned just behind the pistol grip, the ready mag system is activated by simply pressing the mag catch on the left side of the stock to release the stored magazine. This means you can reload in an instant by pressing the magazine catch in the receiver to release the mag with your trigger finger whilst simultaneously removing the stowed mag with your off-hand. As far as reload procedures go, there aren't many techniques which are faster than this! This feature isn't only useful for carrying an extra mag or reloading quickly, and can also be super useful for summer events or high speed load outs. The ready mag allows you to carry two high-caps on board the LT-29 and have all the ammo you can shoot, no need for bulky heavy pouches or rigs that will only slow you down, speeds where it's at!

The battery compartment of the LT-30 can be found inside the Alpha stock, and is accessible when the adjustment lever is held down and the adjustable portion of the stock is removed towards the rear of the gun. Inside you will find a mini-Tamiya battery connector to which you mount your chosen battery. For the LT-30 we recommend a 7.4V 1450mAh LiPo battery in stick configuration, though larger custom batteries may also fit due to the extra space inside the Alpha stock. Ideally, the battery should be placed inside the buffer tube but if you are careful not to crush the cells you may find other places you can fit certain batteries inside the LT-30 stock.

On the inside, the Needletail is just as impressive as its eye catching external looks would have you believe. The LT-29 sports an electronic trigger unit and a high speed motor to give it a brisk rate of fire in full-auto and exceptional trigger response in semi-automatic. The combination of a 6.03mm tight bore inner barrel with a rotary HOP-up unit provides the range and accuracy needed to complete amongst upgraded AEGs on the modern Airsoft battlefield. The gearbox itself is well tuned and sounds smooth and unlaboured when fired, thanks to its use of a ball-bearing spring guide and 8mm bushings to reduce gearbox noise and stress on the internals and gearbox shell.

Turning the M4 system from "yawnsome" to awesome, this compact Needletail will be right up your street if you are looking for an eye-catching M4/AR15 rifle with some out-of-the-box thinking applied to its futuristic design. Stepping aside from simply copying real steel setups, the LT-29 applies practical design principles to create a skirmish-optimised AEG with the impressive pre-upgraded internal setup to get the job done. Its full metal construction together with low weight means you can have your cake and eat it too, and the metallic accent colours make this rifle one of a kind and the perfect pairing for a lightweight, lightning fast loadout!

Special Instructions

The externals of the replica are metal where they would be on the real world gun. This includes things like the outer barrel, handguard, and receiver. If a real world gun has polymer parts then the gun will still be marked as full metal externals, examples of this would be an M4, where the Stock and Pistol grip are always made from Polymer.
