If you're just starting your Airsoft adventure and need a cheap starter replica which can do it all, the CYMA CM.506 M4A1 RIS CQB AEG Rifle is ideal. This M4/AR-15 platform AEG is constructed almost entirely from high-density polymer with an alloy outer barrel and trim parts, keeping the build lightweight and agile, not to mention cost-effective. While it weighs practically nothing (only 1.7kg!), the CM.506 doesn't feel flimsy thanks to its use of high-density ABS polymer. Inside we are treated to surprisingly well-equipped internals, offering respectable performance in both outdoor and indoor skirmishes.

The alloy version 2 gearbox the CM.506 is based around is equipped with 18:1 standard ratio gears running on 8mm steel bushings, a type 1 cylinder, reinforced polymer compression parts and a quick change spring system. Also inside is a 6.03mm tightbore inner barrel and an updated rotary HOP-up unit, giving you above-average accuracy potential and the latest HOP-up unit design for M4/AR-15 AEG platforms. All internal parts are standard Tokyo Marui AEG spec, meaning the sky is the limit when it comes to upgrades later down the line!

Externally, the CM.506 is absolutely mission-ready, equipped with a 20mm Picatinny quad rail handguard and 20mm railed receiver, ready for any 20mm Picatinny accessories you need, from red dot sights and scopes to vertical foregrips, laser aiming modules and tactical flashlights. The alloy outer barrel is rocking 14mm CCW male threads, meaning you can add a tracer unit to make your BBs glow or a suppressor for sneaky styling. If you want to get into Airsoft without committing a whole wad of cash, the CYMA CM.506 M4A1 CQB SD Beginner Bundle is what you need to get started! This set includes everything you'll need to get started, including an M4A1 AEG Rifle, high-quality battery, charger, 4000 high-grade BBs and a set of Bolle NESS Shooting Glasses.

The CM.506 M4A1 CQB SD AEG is a lightweight polymer battery-powered M4 rifle with semi-auto and full auto-fire modes. It's based on the Tokyo Marui M4 internal design, meaning aftermarket upgrades are plentiful, as are parts for repairs and customisation. With 20mm Picatinny rails on the handguard and receiver, the CM.506 is ready for any 20mm Picatinny accessories you choose to mount, including red dot sights and scopes, vertical and angled foregrips and even lasers and flashlights for CQB scenarios. We've been very impressed with the performance-to-price ratio of the CYMA Sport series and while they may be cheaper than alternatives, they are still competitive in game!

The included 9.6V 1600mAh NiMh Battery will improve trigger response, rate of fire and longevity when compared to the 8.4V battery included with the CYMA Sport. VAPEX's Easy Smart Charger is simple and safe to use, especially when paired with the included Battery Safe Charging Bag.

Delta Armory's 0.25g Diamond BBs are some of the best BBs on the market, great for both indoor skirmishes at close range, outdoor engagements or long-range target shooting. Being a bag of 4000 rounds, you should be able to get quite a lot of trigger time in before you need to reload, even if you've got a heavy trigger finger!

Bolle's NESS Safety Glasses are rated EN166 F, easily capable of withstanding Airsoft projectiles and keeping you safe while you shoot. We recommend getting a set of goggles and a lower face mask or a full face mask if you're planning on attending skirmishes to ensure the most important bit of your kit (eye protection) complies with most skirmish site rules which often mandate a strap to secure goggles or glasses.

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.

FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
