This replica has found its way into our boneyard for a few issues; first of which is supposedly there is an issue regarding the cylinder - doing some quick testing, there's nothing obviously wrong with it so investigation may be required into potential problems. The rear sight has also broken off so a replacement may have to be sourced if you enjoy using iron sights.

The front end of the replica is slowly coming off, suggesting the plastic housing that holds the barrel assembly together is already broken and it's hanging on by a thread. Other than these issues, the replica does function, firing at an average of 200 FPS on .2 BBs using Abbey Predator Ultra Green Gas.

This replica has landed in our boneyard due to the barrel's retaining pin hole has snapped at one side meaning even when the retaining pin is through the replica, nothing is holding the barrel in so currently its held together via friction fit - testing the replica showed that it is function but at reduced performance due to the seal between the cylinder and chamber not being tight because of the loose barrel; however we did see around 240 FPS on .2 BB's using Abbey Predator Ultra Green Gas so it is still usable regardless.

This replica has found its way into our boneyard due to it having excessive wear across the entirety of the replica alongside the slide being chipped where the slide lock/release usually holds the slide in place - this is still usable however we do not trust it not going back into battery purely by just moving around with this replica.

Other than this issue, the replica fires normally where we were seeing an average of 270 FPS on .2 BBs using Abbey Predator Ultra Green Gas; we will note that this FPS was very inconsistent where we were seeing highs of 310 FPS to lows of 230 FPS. Again, this replica isn't the best looker however you could get yourself some sort of kit to throw the replica into and turn it into an extremely fun platform to use!

If you're after a light and compact racer style but have no care for red dots - this may be the one for you! Even though it comes equipped with a red dot, it doesn't hold zero and the windage alongside elevation adjustments are non-functional so you could run this sidearm without the dot and still have a blast as it's fully removable! Firing through the chronograph, we were seeing 300 FPS +/- 10% on .2 BBs using Abbey Predator Ultra Green Gas meaning you could pick this replica up and take it to a skirmish without issues!

A lot of work was put in to refine the mass-produced CYMA gearbox and make it run like a Bolster. The inner surfaces of the gearbox have been polished for reduced friction and modified to house the ASTER™ ETU. The cylinder windows have been radiused to increase the strength of the shell to withstand the force of repeated piston impacts, and the bearing holes in the gearbox shell have been smoothed out. The angle of engagement has also been corrected, meaning 11.1V LiPo's are a go for the Bolster Tuned CM.041 SD5 so you can hose the enemy down with a torrent of BBs like a fireman hoses a blaze.

With upgrades added and work done, the price has increased, but by a far smaller margin than it would if you took a stock CM.041 SD to a technician and paid for this amount of work to be done. Finally, we can pick up and play with an exceptionally well-built AEG with all the fine-tuning necessary for exceptional performance already complete, and done with care, to an exacting standard.

When we tested the Warhead Edition we were absolutely stunned; it's even faster than the original Tuned CM.041 SD! 320 FPS on the dot with remarkable consistency, 60m+ effective range and an absolutely scary rate of fire of 27 rounds per second; more than enough to outshoot anything else you can buy off the shelf!
