Description

A spring powered bolt action Airsoft replica sniper rifle that oozes quality straight from the box, ASG's Steyr SSG 69 P2 is an incredibly well made Airsoft replica, that accurately captures the look and feel of the real Steyr rifle, and features a HOP-up design based on the reliable and popular VSR / BAR 10 platform.

Just like the real thing, this Airsoft replica features a polymer stock and grip with the barrel, bolt, receiver and rails constructed from alloy, resulting in an authentic looking and feeling replica of the Steyr rifle. The alloy components within the polymer furniture fit tightly together, and the Airsoft weapon is comfortably balanced thanks to the weighted stock.

Although the FPS is low out of the box compared to other sniper rifles, do not let this put you off. The Hop Up unit is similar to the VSR / BAR 10 design, which allows for incredibly precise control over the Hop-up adjustment. The Hop-up is adjusted via an externally mounted slider on the left hand side of the outer barrel, which allows for extremely precise control and adjustment - just what you want in a sniper rifle! This allows for ease of use and also improved accuracy due to its internal mechanism and design. Please note scopes and bipods are sold separate on our website and in store.

Special instructions

When assembling the Steyr SSG 69 P2 Sniper Rifle it is important that the rearmost screw in the stock is not over tightened. We suggest tightening the screw until it is hand tight but not cranking it down as this can often cause damage to the cylinder and render the rifle inoperable.

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.

FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
