Description

This is the "1 Joule" model of the CM.701, not the previously stocked high-power version.

Used by the military around the world and also a popular hunting rifle, CYMA brings us the CM.701B Bar-10, an Airsoft sniper loosely based on the famous M700 rifle. Making for a great jump start in the world of Airsoft sniping, this rifle has everything you need to get skirmishing right out of the box, being reliable, lightweight and budget-friendly, with an aesthetic faux wood stock.

Constructed with a sturdy alloy barrel to give it that bit of realism and weight for balance, with the body of the rifle built from high-density polymer with a fixed stock, which is both tough and lightweight, perfect for those long skirmish days outdoors with a lot of moving about the field.

The main draw of this rifle is the realistic cocking mechanism, which makes you feel like a true sniper, with a satisfying load action and strong 'snap' sound with every reload. In keeping with the rest of the barrel, the cocking mechanism is constructed from sturdy alloy, but the hand is comprised of textured polymer, with a diamond pattern to improve palm and thumb grip when reloading.

Internally, the rifle features a 6.03 tightbore barrel, which helps increase range and accuracy, allowing you to pick off those far-flung targets with ease. Should you want to upgrade in the future, this rifle is compatible with any VSR Bar-10 parts, such as those from the Tokyo Marui brand. If you ever feel like getting a little bit creative, this Bar-10 is a great place to start.

Additionally, the rifle features an alloy adjustable HOP-up, easily adjusted via the tab below the barrel on the left-hand side. This allows you to modify for windage and elevation, depending on the weather and terrain at hand.

The safety is located behind the cocking handle on the right-hand side, easily accessed with the thumb.

An ergonomic feature of the Bar-10 is the rubberised butt plate, allowing you to lock the rifle comfortably against the shoulder so you won't have any issues holding it against your person any time soon. Another useful feature is the two sling plate rings for use with a two-point sling for ease of carriage, for when you move between sniper nests.

Included in the box is a 30-round magazine, though should you want to, the CYMA CM.701B is compatible with any Bar-10 style magazines, including CYMA and Tokyo Marui. Also included are a speed loader and all the tools required to build the rifle, so you're ready to go and get skirmishing right out of the box.

This is perfect for Airsoft players, just starting with their loadout or for veteran players looking to get into sniping. A rifle with great internals for the price included features such as adjustable HOP right out of the box, which would allow you to shoot further and more accurately. Expect to be picking off targets and outranging your teammates all day long, and strike fear into the enemy if they ever see you walk out from cover.

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.

FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
