Tokyo Marui VSR-ONE Bolt Action Sniper Rifle; Gold Edition

This sniper would be an interesting CQB challenge! The Tokyo Marui VSR-ONE Bolt Action Sniper Rifle; Gold Edition, like all Tokyo Marui platforms, has been crafted with love, sugar, spice and everything nice in Japan, the home of Airsoft. The VSR-10 is often regarded as the benchmark for Airsoft sniper rifles, and the VSR-ONE takes that pedigree into the modern era with its lightweight polymer chassis, redesigned ergonomic pistol grip and adjustable stock.

Starting at the front of this gorgeous sniper rifle, we find the polymer muzzle device. Hidden underneath is a 14mm threaded CCW outer barrel, meaning you can put a stylish suppressor (or tracer unit if you're feeling crazy) on the front of this platform with ease! The short barrel of the VSR-ONE makes it an incredibly nimble platform, but doesn't sacrifice much accuracy at long range.

Moving rearwards, we find the M-LOK handguard of the polymer chassis. With M-LOK slots at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock, and Picatinny rail sections for M-LOK included in the box, you have plenty of attachment options for all kinds of accessories such as bipods or even a foregrip if you want to completely break the mould! In between the bottom M-LOK sections lies the magazine well as well as the magazine release. Press the button to release the mag!

On the left side of the chassis, between it and the outer barrel, we can find the slider HOP-up adjuster, positioned in the same spot as the original VSR-10. The HOP-up allows you to adjust the backspin applied to each BB and tune your effective range with different ammo weights, seeking the flattest possible trajectory. The HOP-up internals, including the inner barrel and HOP-up bucking, are VSR-10 compatible, giving you access to all the best HOP-up buckings on the market!

Additionally, on the handguard, we find QD sling points at the front, perfect for keeping this beautiful sniper rifle attached to your person at all times with a sling. Then, up top, we find a 20mm Picatinny top rail. This is the perfect place for your telescopic scope as it sits in the perfect place for when you want to aim down sights. For this compact sniper rifle, a low-profile, smaller scope is probably your better option, but who are we to decide for you!

Being a bolt-action sniper rifle, the VSR-ONE's bolt protrudes from the right side of the rifle, at the rear of the receiver. Cocking requires the bolt to be rotated upwards, pulled all the way to the rear, pushed forward again and rotated back into place, just like other bolties. The bolt handle itself is enlarged to provide extra space between your optic and hand, avoiding scraping your knuckles on your scope every time you work the bolt.

Below the receiver and action, we have the curved VSR-style trigger and polymer trigger guard, designed in the classic R700 style. Thanks to Tokyo Marui's precision-engineered metal trigger unit, you can adjust the trigger pull weight and distance, so your rifle can be finely tuned just for you!

Moving rearwards, you find the full pistol grip. Unlike most VSR-10 sniper rifles, the VSR-ONE ditches the semi-pistol grip and replaces it with a GBBR-compatible pistol grip. The VSR-ONE's preinstalled pistol grip is slim with an extremely grippy texture on all sides of it. 

The stock of this sniper rifle is certainly unique! It has a sleek design and is very lightweight. The butt plate has a grippy rubber texture, which helps it sit comfortably in your shoulder when aiming down sights. Another neat feature that this stock has is that it is foldable. You can fold it to the left by pressing the button at the top and locking it into the receiver. This is ideal for travelling or if you're looking for a super duper compact sniper setup.

As this is a Tokyo Marui platform, it has been made with the Japanese FPS limits in mind. Don't let this fool you, though; your BBs will reach out as far as most other platforms with ease. Plus, it is compatible with most VSR-10 after-market upgrades, so if you need a little more punch for whatever reason, you can easily find it!
