Lancer Tactical LT-15 Gen.2 M4 SD NSR AEG; ALPHA Stock

A revamped version of the original LT-15 M4 SD, the "NSR" version features a new receiver design patterned after real steel "billet" receivers, ambidextrous fire controls and the innovative Lancer Tactical ALPHA stock, a thumbhole stock design with a built-in pistol grip and ready-mag system.

The Alpha stock makes the LT-15 look like a true space blaster, but also comes with plenty of built-in functional benefits. With 5 length of pull positions, QD sling sockets on each side, improved strength from its thumbhole design and an on-board ready-mag system, this stock is fantastic for speedy skirmishers who need to reload rapidly!

Inside, the version 2 gearbox features a reinforced alloy shell, 18:1 ratio steel gears running on 8mm bushings, a quick-change spring system for easy power tuning and a polymer piston with a full steel tooth rack. The inner barrel is a 6.03mm tightbore paired with a rotary-style HOP-up unit, providing competitive range and excellent accuracy potential when used with high-quality BBs. For skirmishers who value the stealthy look, this makes a fantastic beginner platform with wide compatibility with internal upgrades if you want more down the line!

Starting at the front end, we can find a pre-installed suppressor which covers the 380mm 6.03mm tightbore inner barrel, mounting to the 5.5-inch alloy outer barrel. This gives the LT-15 M4 SD integrally suppressed AR styling, ideal for sneaky skirmishers. The suppressor mounts to 14mm CCW male threading, but due to the extended inner barrel length, a barrel extension will be required to mount a tracer unit.

Surrounding the suppressor, we have a polymer 20mm Picatinny quad-railed handguard with 20mm rails at the 3, 6, 9 and 12 o'clock positions, ready for any 20mm accessories you choose to add to complete your mission. Styled after the real steel KAC RIS, the handguard has a realistic look and unlike similar integrally suppressed platforms with KeyMod or M-LOK handguards, you will never have trouble mounting mission essentials to this quad rail, as it doesn't require clearance between the handguard and suppressor.

The receiver of the LT-15 M4 SD is significantly styled up to match real steel "Billet" receivers, providing modern looks to pair with its ambidextrous fire controls. The fire selector is positioned just above the pistol grip on either side and offers 3 modes of fire: SAFE, SEMI and AUTO, with a 90-degree throw between each mode. This makes the selector easy to switch, but not so easy that it can be knocked out of position accidentally. The fire selector is also an enhanced design, and this, paired with its ambidextrous functionality, makes it fantastic for use in all weather, with or without gloves, left or right-handed!

The magazine release is on the right side of the magazine well and is also an extended design with a secondary mag release on the opposite side, accessible for either left or right-handed users with the tip of the trigger finger. The charging handle, located at the top rear of the receiver, is also ambidextrous, allowing it to be pulled from either side with a single finger, in line with modern AR-15 shooting doctrine. Ambidextrous controls are the primary improvement in Lancer's Gen.2 NSR line, providing a more advanced look and ensuring left-handed shooters are at no disadvantage.

Pulling back the charging handle will open the dust cover and retract the mock bolt carrier to allow access to the rotary HOP-up adjuster. This is the latest HOP-up unit design for the M4/AR15 and provides finer increments of adjustment and holds its setting more effectively when compared to the older gear-style HOP-up unit.

The trigger is a flat-style trigger, pairing well with the modernised "billet" style receiver. The trigger guard is an enlarged and built into the receiver, which allows easy access to the trigger when wearing gloves and improves the overall strength of the receiver. The pistol grip is a modern ergonomic design with a filled backstrap and a reduced grip angle, allowing for more comfortable shooting in CQB when you are running the stock fully collapsed.

The LT-15 M4 SD also includes a dummy forward assist button to keep the rifle looking faithful to the real M4/AR-15 platform. Present on the right side of the upper receiver, the forward assist is a separate moving part which can be pressed in but does not affect the function of the AEG.

At the rear of the receiver, we are treated to an ambidextrous sling plate, which is constructed from steel, providing ample strength to support the M4 SD on a single-point sling. This sling point can also be paired with a front sling point (available separately) if you prefer a two-point sling setup for better stability when moving with the rifle stowed.

At the rear, we can find what is known as Lancer Tactical "Alpha" stock, an original Lancer Tactical design with a wealth of interesting and forward-thinking features to keep you ahead of the game. The stock and grip are combined into a single piece, known as a "thumbhole stock". This has the advantage of providing extra strength in comparison to a separate stock/grip setup. The Alpha stock retains the adjustability of the original M4 buffer tube-mounted sliding stock, offering 5 positions of adjustment via the adjustment lever found at the toe of the stock.

On either side of the stock, we are treated to QD sling sockets, which can be paired with QD sling swivels and the front sling sockets for a modern sling setup, able to be quickly detached at lightning speed. Right at the back, we can find a rubber butt plate with inverted pyramidal checkering to keep the Alpha stock tightly gripped to your shoulder regardless of the weather conditions.

Yet another unique innovation built into the Alpha stock is its "ready mag" system, allowing you to carry an extra magazine on your rifle, granting instant access for emergency reloads. Positioned just behind the pistol grip, the ready mag system is activated by simply pressing the mag catch on the left side of the stock to release the stored magazine. This means you can reload in an instant by pressing the magazine catch in the receiver to release the mag with your trigger finger whilst simultaneously removing the stowed mag with your off-hand. As far as reload procedures go, there aren't many techniques which are faster than this!

The battery compartment is inside the Alpha stock, accessible when the adjustment lever is held down and the adjustable portion of the stock is removed towards the rear. Inside, there is a mini-Tamiya battery connector to which you mount your chosen battery. We recommend a 7.4V 1450mAh LiPo battery in stick configuration, though larger custom batteries may also fit due to the extra space inside the Alpha stock.
