- For S&T and AGM MG42
The S&T 2500rnd Electric Drum Magazine For S&T/AGM MG42 is a faithful replica of the real steel MG42’s compact 50-round drum magazine, except, it has a whopping 2500 BB capacity! That's like a whole bottle of BBs. This magazine also has some high-tech features, requiring 4x AA batteries, when plugged into your AGM MG42 Airsoft Support Rifle it will wind itself every time the trigger is pulled. This means that all 2500 BBs will be automatically fed into your support rifle without any extra work from you, a seriously useful feature. The electric winding system also reduces the chance of misfeeding, as the BBs will only be fed when one is shot from the MG42.
This steel magazine is just what you need to keep your Airsoft support rifle feeling realistic, it also features a carry handle for easy transport when it's not clipped into your replica.
Description
An Airsoft gun that’s perfect for Airsoft skirmishers, collectors and historical reenactors alike, this excellent replica is realistically constructed. The real MG42 appeared in 1942, designed to replace the complicated and costly MG34 GPMG. Used predominantly by the German Wehrmacht and Axis forces throughout WW2, the design still lives on to this day in the re-engineered NATO 7.62mm calibre MG3.
Just like the real MG42, this replica is predominantly constructed from durable alloy, with a real wood stock and a polymer pistol grip. The grip is a very convincing recreation of the brown Bakelite plastic favoured by German weapon designers of the 1930s. The wooden stock is hollow and contains the battery storage compartment. Not only does this Airsoft gun look like an MG42, but it also feels and handles like the real thing!
The real MG42 was designed as a general-purpose machine gun (GPMG), designed to be used both as an infantry and vehicle weapon, and the Airsoft gun accurately recreates many of the real design features. Just like the real thing, Airsofters can use the MG42 replica as a manoeuvrable squad support weapon, or as a static medium support weapon. The weapon’s ironsights are fully adjustable and even feature the flip-up anti-aircraft gunnery sights, used to allow vehicle crews to engage low-flying aircraft.
The bipod is quick and easy to deploy, allowing you to set up a fixed and stable firing position in seconds. The height of each leg is independently adjustable, allowing users to deploy in a wide range of terrain conditions. The bipod can even be completely removed if you wish to use the MG42 in a more agile, lightweight and mobile form.
The magazine is a replica of the MG34 and MG42’s compact 50-round drum magazine – although being Airsoft, this replica contains a satisfying 2500 Airsoft BB rounds. To ensure that the Airsoft gun fires efficiently, the magazine’s automatic feed system is hardwired into the MG42, meaning that every time you pull the trigger, the magazine will automatically wind ammunition and feed the gun. It’s an incredibly well-designed system which is both efficient and reduces the chance of misfeeds. The magazine is conveniently powered by 4x AA batteries, meaning that replacements are easy to acquire.
Realistically constructed and very well made, this replica MG42 is perfect for both historical reenactors and Airsoft skirmishers alike. Whether you’re looking to complete a period-accurate and authentic loadout, want to add a support weapon to your Airsoft arsenal, or simply want to own a replica of one of the most infamous and successful machinegun designs ever made, the AGM MG42 AEG replica is an excellent option.

Customer reviews
The battery system for the belt mag runs on 4 AA batteries, making it very reasonable to resupply
The structure is heavy but still mobile
It is compatible with a post-WW2 West German AA tripod (I tested on my own and required negligible adjustment), and I have seen video evidence of them being installed on Lafettes. You can also get older MG slings installed reasonably if you want a realistic but cheap MG nest build for a specific game mode. I would recommend this absolute UNIT
The case is also insanely good for making it a hell of a lot easier to transport it disassembled
My only issue is structural concerns. These have been known to bend slightly due to their aluminium build
Mine had minimal degradation, and I was easily able to rectify this by bending it back extremely cautiously by the grip and barrel (I don't recommend doing this often at all, I did it to mine be cause i made a serious mistake)
Despite its construction materials, the threads for the muzzle device are extremely strong and will not break or fail in the event of an unintentional over torque, so I would advise running the muzzle slightly loose if reasonable for you
