Description

Just like the real L85, this Airsoft replica is a bullpup configuration weapon, with the magazine located behind the trigger. The result is a compact Airsoft gun with a nice long barrel – making it perfect for both outdoor and indoor Airsoft sites.

Army Armaments have opted to recreate the L85A2 as seen in service after 2008 and the adoption of the 20mm RIS 'operations' handguard, as seen used in Afghanistan. Right out of the box users will be able to customise their L85A2 with a wide range of weapon accessories, from foregrips and flashlights, to Airsoft grenade launchers. With four 20mm rails – top, bottom and both sides – that’s a lot of 20mm RIS real estate to play with! The handguard is also the battery storage compartment for the Airsoft replica. As you would expect, the unique and unforgettable design features of the real L85A2 have been accurately recreated on this Airsoft replica; it’s unforgettable aesthetic appearance, and RSAF Enfield’s undeniably unique interpretation of an ergonomic control layout, with it’s push-through safety and rear-located fire controls.

The L85 features a 20mm STANAG 'dovetail' type rail for mounting the supplied iron sights/carry handle. The sights are fully adjustable for elevation and windage, and the rear sight has two apertures; a small ‘peep’ hole for precision shooting and a normal ‘open’ battle sight. This rail will also fit the SA80's iconic SUSAT optic. Although this rail is 20mm, please note it will not accept 20mm RIS accessories.

Army Armament have fitted the Airsoft gun with an electronic blowback function, meaning that every time you pull the trigger the gun will simulate recoil. This imparts a satisfying element of realism to the L85 A2, in addition to being very fun! The L85 A2 also features a fully adjustable Hop-up unit, accessible behind the mock cocking handle. Utilising a rotary gear system, the Hop-up allows you to perfect the range and accuracy performance of the Airsoft gun, or compensate for different weights of BB.

The carry handle is for cosmetic look only, and should not be used to carry the rifle, the rifle is too heavy to sustain the weight of it on just the handle. Do not carry this rifle with what is the rear sight system on the L85 airsoft rifle.

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.

FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
