  • Ideal for Crane stock M4 AEGs

If you're running an M4 with a crane stock and need a longer-lasting battery, the GFC 9.6V 2200mAh Ni-Mh Nunchuck Battery; Mini Tamiya is a good shout. A battery of 8 cells formed into a single long cell group, this 9.6V rechargeable NiMh battery is a perfect fit for M4 AEGs with a Crane battery stock (or similar battery stock design) and also fits great in AEGs with fixed stock battery compartments (M16, etc.). Please note, to install this battery in a Crane Stock-equipped M4, you will need to place one of the cell groups inside the buffer tube.

The advantage of NiMh batteries over their LiPo batteries is that they are less volatile and don't require balance charging, so you can use any charger as long as it's NiMh compatible. Just make sure not to leave the battery charging unattended, and as always, we recommend using a battery safe charging bag for both storage and charging.

Size guide

Airsoft Battery should only be charged with the chargers as they are specifically designed to work with the specific voltages required by the battery.

Different battery types have different chemical configurations, and require certain chargers to charge them. Charging a battery with the wrong charger can cause damage to the battery and charger, and can cause fires and further damage. Please ensure that before charging you double check that you are using the correct charger.

If your charger supports multiple battery types always ensure that it is on the correct settings before starting the charge.

We always recommend charging LiPos and other batteries in a charging bag.
