Description

This Airsoft replica of a well-known German Assault Rifle is built to a high standard with a realistic use of Polymers on the externals, to create a perfect blend of realism and usable weight. The platform has been outfitted with a sliding and folding stock, which makes this RIF usable in all environments from close action CQB to the dense woodland. Whether you need to be compact or at full length, the JG-0538 has a stock position for all scenarios.

The RIF features a 20mm railed handguard, which is ready to accept compatible accessories, and is also where the battery is stored. The handguard is easy to remove once the body pin at the front has been popped out of place, and a Mini-Tamiya connector sits inside, ready to accept either a NiMH or 7.4v LiPO battery. The replica also features a 20mm railed carry handle which can accept any 20mm optics/sights you have available, or other accessories if you're feeling brave. The controls are fully ambidextrous, meaning they can operated from both sides of the weapon, making this a sure choice for any left-handed players who are otherwise not catered for. This includes the fire selector, magazine release and charging handle, which is used to access the HOP unit. To adjust the HOP, simply pull back on the charging handle to reveal the HOP adjust inside the dust cover. The dust cover can be locked open by pulling back the charging handle and pressing it down to lock it in position.

Included in the box is a 470rnd high capacity magazine, which has the added benefit of being able to be clamped together with other magazines to form 'mega mags', and to dramatically shorten your reload times in the field. Also included is a battery and charger set, which whilst won't be as good as an aftermarket set, are a brilliant start to Airsofting, especially when working on a budget. The included battery is an 8.4v 1100mAH NiMH, and the charger is an EU 2 pin charger.

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.

FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
