NUPROL 500rnd Electric Double Magazine for SMG-5 AEGs

If you want a bit of extra capacity but a drum magazine is a bit too bulky for your playstyle, the NUPROL 500rnd Electric Drum Magazine should suit your needs. This magazine is styled to match real clamped magazine setups, though it is a single magazine with a dual reservoir, and is wound using the included rechargeable battery and an electric auto winding mechanism. The benefit of using this magazine over a drum mag is its small size and lack of bulk on the sides, meaning you can wield your SMG-5 in the way it was intended but with over twice the capacity of a normal SMG-5 high-cap!

This magazine feeds through the magazine body on the right side and has fill ports on the top of both the left dummy magazine body and the right, which allows for its increased capacity. To access the fill port on the right side, simply lift up the fill port door as you would with any other SMG-5 high-cap. The fill port on the left can be accessed by pushing the dummy 9x19mm cartridges rearwards. This design adds a lot of realism to the SMG-5 AEG thanks to the highly visible and realistic cartridges, which also make this mag great for photoshoots!

At the front of the dummy magazine body on the left side, we can find the winding button, which will automatically wind the internal mechanism when pressed and feed the BBs into your SMG-5. This means you no longer have to wear your fingers to the bone frantically winding, and it is now as simple as holding down the button for a few seconds.

The battery compartment for this magazine can be found in the base of the dummy mag body on the left side, and is hidden beneath the baseplate. To access the compartment, push the protruding tab on the rear into the magazine body (a small flathead screwdriver will help those without fingernails) and lift the baseplate away. Inside you will find a JST battery connector, to which you connect your rechargeable battery. The battery fits best when positioned in the rear of the compartment. Please note, this magazine does not come with a battery charger, and you will need to source one for a JST battery connector to charge the included battery.

For those who want firepower, but are looking for a more real-world plausible appearance for their SMG-5, this magazine is the way to go. Clamping two magazines together is very common in real SMG-5s, and this magazine fits right in with that aesthetic. If you are more concerned with functionality, this magazine provides 250% of the capacity of a standard 200 round SMG-5 high-cap, with no need to wind, and no extra bulk that comes with running a drum mag!
