A custom build assembled and tuned by our head tech, this premium pistol build pairs the PTS Syndicate Killer Innovations Velocity Defense V1 Conversion Kit with the Sig Air P320 X-Carry GBB pistol, the result being a seriously slick piece with looks to kill, both on and off the field!

On the outside, the PTS Velocity Defense kit is flawlessly machined, made from CNC 6061-T6 aluminium throughout, other than the steel suppressor-height iron sights. To get a true sense of the precise, deeply engraved trademarks and flawless form, you really need to see it in person. While some may say this build is too nice to hit the field with, its mission-ready feature set includes a 20mm Picatinny frame rail, 14mm CCW threaded barrel and RMR-ready slide with a plate included, making going toe-to-toe with this beast in hand a hard proposition to resist!

To provide the performance expected of a premium piece, our talented head technician has sanded smooth the internal frame rails to remove all burrs, replaced the low-quality factory lubricant with high-grade Perfect Airsoft-branded lube and installed the Maple Leaf MR HOP 50° bucking to provide incredible accuracy and range. The set is supplied with all of the original parts from the base P320, with the pistol itself stored in a PARRA Quokka Premium Pistol Hard Case.

The main perk of grabbing this build over carrying out the work yourself is that your 12-month warranty on the base pistol remains intact, meaning you can hit the field with confidence and enjoy the premium Airsoft experience!

Starting at the front, we can find the flawlessly replicated Velocity Defence Compensator, made from CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminium with a hard-anodised finish. The comp looks mean and flawlessly machined, with bevelled edges to aid re-holstering under pressure. On top, we are treated to a precisely engraved Velocity Defense logo trademark, one of many gorgeous, realistic markings across this premium piece.

The compensator is removable, and beneath, we are equipped with 14mm CCW male barrel threads at the tip of the detailed Velocity Defense-style fluted outer barrel, also made from CNC 6061-T6 aluminium. To access the threading, loosen the grub screws on either side of the compensator. Then, with the button on the right side of the comp held in, loosen the threaded collar and lift the comp free.

The set also includes a Velocity Defense-style thread protector, so even if you don't want to run the compensator, a tracer or suppressor, you can keep the front end looking stylish yet minimalist and in line with the real steel. While the outer barrel itself looks fantastic, a perfect replica of the real thing, it is also a fixed, non-tilting design. This significantly enhances gas efficiency, cyclic rate and accuracy, giving you a performance edge to go with the positively luxurious handling experience.

The slide itself features dynamic angled weight reduction ports on either side, with an additional kite-shaped port on the top, through which we get a glimpse of the stylish fluting of the barrel, included in the real thing for a combination of weight reduction and heat dissipation qualities. The frontal profile of the slide is considerably reduced, with angled sides which flare up slightly towards the chamber, functioning as front slide serrations for easy slide manipulation, no matter how you choose to do it.

On the left side of the slide, we are treated to some of the most flawlessly engraved trademarks we've ever seen on an Airsoft replica of any kind, reading "KILLER INNOVATIONS" with your unique serial number just below and the Velocity Defense logo alongside. The outer barrel also features trademarks, with a small Velocity Defense logo on the top, and "9MM" discreetly engraved at the front of the chamber, on the right side. The chamber area also includes weight reduction cuts, shaving off every extra ounce for flawlessly high quality yet beach-ball light feel in the hand.

At the rear of the slide, we are equipped with reduced-profile slide serrations on each side, with recesses below which allow you to easily pinch the slide to cock it. The recesses also serve to further reduce weight and pair perfectly with the aggressive, high-speed styling of the Velocity Defense P320 X-Carry build overall. On top of the slide, we can find the suppressor height iron sights, made from steel with anti-glare serrations on the rear faces and translucent dot inserts. The translucent inserts allow a small amount of light through to make the sights faster to acquire in low-light.

Just in front of the rear sight, we have a flawlessly machined cover plate for the optics-ready slide cut, complete with a Velocity Defense logo and a stylish, weight-reduced profile. Removing the plate allows you to install the included RMR footprint red dot mount plate, allowing any RMR mounting standard red dot sight to be equipped for a significant instinct aiming advantage. If you enjoy the satisfaction of a red dot sight co-witnessed with iron sights, you'll be pleased to learn that the included sights provide an absolute co-witness with most RMR-footprint red dot sights!

Moving down to the frame, we have a SIG P320 X-Carry frame, made from strong high-density polymer with an aluminium alloy subframe beneath, containing the internal parts. The frame features a 20mm Picatinny frame rail on the dust cover, providing an ideal length rail for mounting a laser aiming module or tactical flashlight designed for handguns. The disassembly lever is on the left side, above the trigger guard, allowing you to remove the slide to access the unique HOP-up adjuster.

To remove the slide, first, remove the magazine. Next, rack the slide and hold it back so the semi-circular cutout on the left side of the slide aligns with the disassembly lever. With this done, rotate the disassembly lever clockwise by 90-degrees approximately, after which, the slide can be pushed forward and lifted free. On the bottom of the recoil rod, you'll find a rotary-style HOP-up adjuster, allowing you to tune the amount of backspin applied to your BBs and extend range with various ammo weights. The pre-installed HOP-up bucking in this build is the Maple Leaf MR HOP 50° bucking, allowing for heavy-weight BBs to be used (0.28g+) while enhancing accuracy considerably compared to the original Sig Air bucking.

The slide lock/release catch is ambidextrous, positioned on either side of the frame for easy access for left or right-handed shooters. Being made from steel ensures this essential control will never fail under normal use, and its low-profile shape keeps it well out of your way when you're busy double-tapping targets.

The manual safety catch is located just behind, another ambidextrous control positioned similarly to Hi-Capa pistols but with a far more low-profile design to reduce snag potential. When the pistol is hot, you'll see a red dot revealed on the frame, behind the safety. When the trigger is locked, the dot will be covered. Like most manual safety catches, this safety cannot be activated unless the pistol is cocked.

The trigger itself is a flat design, a perfect match for the EDC-optimised P320 X-Carry pistol, as is the style of the modular frame. The trigger guard is recurved at the front to provide an extra grip location for shooting with modern grip techniques, and the grip itself is significantly slimmer than the military-style M18, with flat sides ideal for concealment and everyday carry. Each side of the grip also features a prominent "SIG" logo roundel, completing the realistic build.

The magazine release is on the left side, in the conventional location. Learning lessons from other combat pistols which have high-profile mag releases, the X-Carry mag release is triangular in shape and only slightly larger than standard mag releases, avoiding the potential to accidentally drop the mag while working under pressure. The mag release button also features serrations on the surface for optimal wet-weather gripping qualities, with or without gloves.

The front, rear and flanks of the grip feature stipple-textured panels to provide maximum traction in all weather conditions, and the "beavertail" at the top rear of the grip has also been extended to more effectively support the web of the hand, encouraging a consistent grip with each draw. On the back of the grip, the P320 X-Carry features a lanyard mount point, allowing you to add a pistol retention lanyard and keep your sidearm tethered to your belt to avoid losing it during energetic movements or long crawls in the woods.

Inside, the Velocity Defense P320 X-Carry build has been treated to a Maple Leaf MR HOP 50° HOP-up bucking, a significant advantage in terms of accuracy and range, offering the ability to use far heavier ammo than the original Sig Air bucking allows for (0.28g+). This pairs perfectly with the stock 6.03mm tightbore inner barrel and the innovative HOP-up adjuster style, resulting in performance far beyond the usual GBB pistol intended for skirmishing.

Other than the installation of the gorgeous PTS slide kit, our head tech has also smoothed the internal frame rails on which the slide travels to remove all burrs and replaced the poor-quality factory grease with high-quality Perfect Airsoft lubricant, resulting in a stunning cyclic rate paired with the ultra-lightweight Velocity Defense-style ported slide.
