A replica of the latest FAST helmet design to hit the real steel market, the FAST SF Next-Gen keeps all the modularity, stability and comfort of the original FAST design with improved padding and reduced weight.
Like previous FAST designs, the Next-Gen comes fully kitted out with ARC accessory rails on either side and an NVG mount up front, allowing you to tart it up however you like. The NVG mount allows night vision devices or action cameras to be mounted using the appropriate hardware, and the side rails allow for ear protectors, masks and 20mm rail adapters to be added, meaning you can mount a scope to your head if that's the way you roll!

Description
If you're working on a modern Special Forces-themed loadout, the NUPROL FAST SF Next-Gen Helmet is a good shout. This is a reproduction of the latest real steel FAST Next Gen helmet, a recently released design which is used by special forces units from across the world, including DEVGRU, UKSF, the US Navy SEALs and many others. This helmet comes with ARC accessory rails pre-installed on either side and an NVG mount at the front, complete with a protective insert.
The ARC rails allow for direct mounting of ARC rail accessories such as ear/face protectors and communications headsets, and also have integral goggle strap mounts on either side, which can be disconnected quickly and easily. Each ARC rail has a bungee NVG retaining lanyard, which is stored flat against the helmet when not in use, hooking into the recesses in the NVG mount. These bungee cords can be hooked onto your night vision device or action camera to give an extra level of protection in a worst-case scenario, such as a failure of the mount.
Included with the helmet are additional internal pads and Velcro stickers to allow you to set the pads inside up to suit your brain compartment perfectly. External velcro is also provided so you can add patches to the outside of the lid and style it up to suit your loadout.
The OCC dial on the back of the suspension allows you to tighten the helmet once it is on your head and the chinstrap is adjusted, providing a super snug fit with no slop or rotation possible. Those who have sprinted wearing a MICH or older helmet style will know how much it slides around, but with the OCC dial tightened effectively, there is no chance of this happening with a FAST helmet.
If you have an action camera or NVG mounted to the front and the helmet becomes unbalanced, you can add a counterweight pouch to the FAST Ballistic and fill it with weights or a USB power bank. Counterweight pouches can also be used to house an anti-fog unit, including the EXFog and the Novritsch Anti-Fog Unit.
