Description

The Snow Wolf PPSH is an authentic tribute to the Russian submachine gun that has played a key part in history, and comes packaged with a realistic electronic blowback to add more immersion than ever, and to put a big smile on your face as you burn through the included drum magazine.

The externals are made from a mix of polymer and alloy, with alloy being used for all the key externals, such as outer barrel, heat shroud, receiver and important Trim aspects such as the trigger and fire controls. The stock is made from polymer, but is finished with a convincing faux-wood, replicating a dark stain that looks much better than the lighter finish that is often used. The whole replica clocks in at just over 3kg, making it quite a chunky beast, and meaning you'll probably want to make use of the sling loops on the externals.

The gun is powered by a battery in the stock, accessed by flicking the switch inside the cover/flap on the butt plate and rotating the plate counterclockwise. Inside you will find a Mini-Tamiya connector, which is ideally suited for a 9.6v NiMH or 7.4v LiPo battery. All the fire controls (magazine release and fire selector) are ambidextrous, meaning they can be accessed from either side of the gun comfortably, making this a good choice for both left and right handed players. The gun has a rotary HOP unit which can be used to fine tune your BB flight path, achieving better range and consistency when you set the HOP right for your BB weight. To access the HOP, pull back on the charging handle and make adjustments to the rotary dial underneath the dust cover. When you fire the gun, the charging handle and dust cover will rattle backwards to mimic recoil, and will put a very big smile on your face! The Snow Wolf PPSH also includes a quick change Spring system that allows you to quickly change the main spring of the gun, without fully disassembling the gearbox; a welcome treat for those who like to tinker! To supplement this, the gearbox has a set of steel gears inside to ensure long life performance.

Included in the box are two different high-cap magazines; one of which is a standard design holding 540rnds, and another being a drum magazine that holds 2000rnds. Both the magazines require you to pour BBs in through a fill window, and wind the clockwork wheel to start winding BBs into your gun. If you're looking for either a replica with important historical significance, or you just want a realistic AEG that performs well and has all the bells and whistles of a modern replica, without having to be an M4 or M16 platform, then the Snow Wolf PPSH is ideal; especially with a convincing electronic blowback to help you enjoy that 2000rnd drum magazine!

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.

FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
