This boneyard replica appears to have a worn sear which results in the piston pushing the bolt back into battery (almost like slam firing but more dangerous) though is otherwise externally mint, making it a great candidate for repair. With a bit of technical know-how, it could be brought back into service and deliver the smooth, consistent spring-powered bolt-action performance the M40A5 platform is known for. A solid boneyard project for builders and sniper fans alike.
