If you're looking for an optimal Airsoft rifle scope with great functionality, the Theta Optics 1.5-5x32 EG Illuminated Rifle Scope is the one to go for. Despite its super short overall length (less than 20cm), this variable magnification scope offers 1.5-5x adjustable zoom and the choice of a red illuminated reticle with different brightness settings for different light levels.
Packaged with a set of scope rings for 20mm Picatinny rails, the 1.5-5x32 EG Illuminated Rifle Scope is ready to mount on any Airsoft gun with a 20mm rail. The rings are simple to install, but if you're struggling, check out our Scope Mounting Guide. If you prefer a dual ring mount or higher or lower profile rings, fear not! You can use any scope rings for 25mm monotube scopes, giving you plenty of mounting options.
The illumination adjustment dial is on the left side of the optic, offering multiple brightness settings for reticle illumination. This is great for having a reticle that will clearly stand out from the ambient environment. Adjustable brightness is also very useful, allowing you to clearly see your reticle in both low light and bright sunlight with a quick turn of the dial.
Inside the illumination turret, you will find the battery compartment, accessible by unscrewing the top cap either by hand or using a flathead screwdriver. Pop the battery inside with the positive terminal facing outwards, reinstall the top cap, and you're ready to rock.
Zero adjustment is provided by a pair of capped turrets, one on the top and one on the right side of the monotube. Unscrewing the caps reveals the adjustment dials, which can be turned by hand or using a flathead screwdriver. The elevation adjustment is on the top, providing up and down adjustment, and the windage adjuster is on the right, controlling left-to-right reticle movement.
The radial magnification adjustment dial is located at the rear, surrounding what is known as the "eyebell" of the scope. This dial allows you to adjust magnification from 1.5x all the way up to 5x, ideal for both engagement at medium range and target identification. Thanks to its serrated surface, the dial is very easy to turn, allowing you to get the appropriate amount of zoom quickly, even in wet weather.
