Description
If your SigAir MCX Virtus is due for a style-up, the Airsoft Artisan 10.5" LVAW Handguard, Suppressor & Outer Barrel is a fine choice. This set includes everything you need to complete a LVAW (Low Visibility Assault Weapon) build (other than the MCX Virtus base gun) to match the real steel LVAW kit offered to Law Enforcement and Military customers.
The handguard, suppressor and outer barrel are all made from phenomenal quality CNC aluminium, boasting detailed markings and crisp machining throughout; the perfect match for the superbly built SigAir MCX Virtus. The outer barrel is a 9-inch example with a flawlessly realistic profile and features 14mm CCW male threading at the tip, ready to mount the included suppressor or any other you choose to equip.
The included suppressor is known as the SRD762 and is a lot more exciting to look at than your average Airsoft suppressor, thanks to its ribbed external design and aggressive, spiked front aperture. As with other Airsoft Artisan suppressors, the set includes suppressor internals for an extended inner barrel or 34mm diameter tracer module, giving you the necessary options to take your LVAW build in a more Airsoft-first direction if you require it.
Featuring SMR slots at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock, the LVAW handguard will require some rail adapters if you plan on mounting most common Airsoft attachments. It is also wider in profile to provide clearance for the integral suppressor. Along the top, we have a 20mm Picatinny rail, ideally suited to a PEQ/DBAL laser unit or tactical flashlight. When installed, the upper handguard rail will meet your receiver rail seamlessly, allowing optical sights of almost any length to be mounted, with space to spare. It also comes with a flashlight mount and Picatinny rail section preattached!
