If you're running a compact platform with limited rail space or simply seek a sprinkle of "gucci" for your build, the Airsoft Artisan K High Rise Mount with Extension for T1/T2 Red Dot Sight is well-suited to the task! Made from precisely machined aluminium and patterned after an up-and-coming alternative to popular "Skiff" and "Hydra" mounts, the K High Rise Mount is phenomenally built and packs a lot of functionality into a relatively simple-looking mount!
The set includes what is known as a "Diving Board", a section of rail which attaches to the front of the optic mount, ideal for a PEQ or DBAL laser unit. This can be removed to reduce weight and improve field of view, revealing the minimalist skeletonised design of the mount itself. On each side, the K High Rise Mount features a single M-LOK attachment slot, allowing you to mount an M-LOK rail to each side (with the M-LOK nut removed) to add even more accessories, should the mission require it.
The K High Rise Mount is designed for 20mm Picatinny rails and is compatible with red dot sights using the Aimpoint Micro footprint/mounting standard, including most T1 and T2 clones. Description
A superbly designed piece of kit as versatile as it is attractive, the Airsoft Artisan K High Rise Mount with Extension for T1/T2 Red Dot Sight is made from CNC-machined aluminium and finished with the rock-solid anodisation Airsoft Artisan is known for. The K High Rise Mount is designed to mount to 20mm Picatinny rails and is compatible with red dot sights which use the Aimpoint Micro mounting standard, including most T1 and T2 clones. With an optic installed, this mount positions the reticle at 2.26 inches over the rail, the same height as popular Unity FAST mounts.
Fitted to the front of the mount, we can find what is known as the "Diving Board", a removable section of 20mm Picatinny rail designed to allow a PEQ, DBAL or other laser unit to be mounted in a raised position. The Diving Board extends further than comparable Hydra and Skiff mounts, allowing you to mount your pressure switch closer to the front of your rifle to suit modern shooting stances. The Diving Board also makes a fantastic place to mount a RunCam Scope Camera to capture your skirmish skills on film!
With the Diving Board removed, the K High Rise Mount allows you to see straight through its skeletonised design, improving field of view and allowing you to maintain maximum situational awareness and never miss a concealed target. On each side of the mount, we're treated to a single M-LOK attachment slot, which allows M-LOK accessories which fit a single slot to be mounted with the M-LOK nuts removed. This allows night vision users to add an IR illuminator to improve visibility, but could also be used for a standard white tactical flashlight or laser.
