Airtac HPA Mag Adapter for M4/AR-15 AEG Magazines; Hi-Capa

The Airtac HPA Mag Adapter for M4/AR-15 AEG Magazines; Hi-Capa is designed to work with most Hi-Capa GBB pistols, allowing them to feed from standard M4/AR-15 AEG magazines using High Pressure Air (HPA) as a power source. Naturally, you'll need an HPA bottle, line and regulator to use this, and the set includes a US spec connector. Once set up, there are few platforms out there that can contend with an HPA-fuelled 'Capa!

The Airtac adapter features an innovative BB retention mechanism, meaning you only lose 3 BBs during a magazine change; far fewer than equivalent adapters. This adapter also includes a single-stack feed channel, designed to prevent jams and improve reliability, especially when used with super-strong EPM-1RX magazines. The magazine well itself also includes a removable flare, designed to guide your magazine in smoothly during a reload, a more forgiving design ideal for adrenaline-pumped action. 

This magazine adapter requires assembly and a donor Hi-Capa green gas magazine. Airtac recommends Tokyo Marui, WE, Novritsch, Raven or VORSK magazines for ease of installation. M4 magazine-wise, Airtac recommends using PTS-branded magazines but states most M4 AEG magazines will work. The set also includes rear shims designed to fit the rear of the M4 magazine well to ensure feeding is reliable with a wide variety of M4 AEG mags. 

HPA use comes with more than a few advantages, including the elimination of FPS fluctuation due to the "cooldown" effect, improved shot-to-shot consistency and improved accuracy down range, especially under rapid fire. When set up, this HPA adapter will considerably improve consistency, and feeding from M4/AR-15 AEG mags means you get more capacity too!

A factor to consider if you're moving over to HPA is additional parts wear from doing a lot more shooting than you usually would with a pistol. This can shorten the lifespan of gas pistols that haven't been upgraded with HPA use in mind; as such, we only recommend this adapter for those who are prepared for potential parts replacement down the line. Remember, the candle that burns twice as bright burns for half as long!

Special Instructions

Early Tokyo Marui magazines which use pins instead of screws to connect the baseplate are NOT compatible with this adapter. Late generation magazines which use screws are good to go.
