Whether you need a novelty primary for humiliation kills or you've got a younger sibling who wants to get in on the action, the Cybergun FN Herstal SCAR-L Budget LPEG is a great option. Made entirely from lightweight ABS polymer, this LPEG (Low Power Electric Gun) is powered by the included magazine-style 7.2V NiMh battery unit and is loaded through the dummy reflex sight on the top rail, functioning as a gravity-fed mag with 300 BB capacity.

It goes without saying that this isn't a competitive skirmish tool, but it is a great entry point into the world of sports shooting for those too young to be trusted with a full-power AEG. That said, this still hits out at around 210 FPS using 0.20g BBs with semi-automatic or fully automatic fire modes, meaning eye protection and the usual safety precautions are still necessary.

While it makes a great first foray into target shooting, this SCAR also makes a great prop for theatre work, being convincing enough from a distance while lightweight and affordable. Whether you're looking for a backyard plinker more suitable for younger shooters or a humiliation-kill platform which will make skirmishers weep with laughter, the Cybergun SCAR-L LPEG will do the trick!

Description

Quick Start Guide

Charge your battery: Connect the included USB charger to a UK 3-pin wall adapter. Next, connect the charger cable to the port on the bottom of your magazine/battery. The charge time is 2-3 hours, and you must never leave your battery on charge overnight or while unattended.
Put on eye protection & Load BBs: With your eye protection on, slide the fill port door on the top rear of the mock reflex sight open and pour in your BBs. We recommend using 0.20g BBs for this LPEG.
Insert your battery/magazine: Insert the magazine/battery unit into the magazine well by pushing it up until it clicks. The contacts on the top of the battery/magazine unit should be facing upwards when inserted.
Set your fire selector to your chosen mode: With your home range clear and the shooter and spectators wearing eye protection, set the fire selector to either semi-automatic (marked on the left side with an "S") or fully automatic (marked with an "A").
You're ready to shoot: Never shoot Airsoft ammo beyond your property, at animals, or at humans who are not participating in an Airsoft skirmish on private land.

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.

FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
