Quick Start Guide

• Charge your battery. This set does NOT include a battery or charger. We recommend a 7.4V 680mAh LiPo battery for this pistol and a LiPo balance charger. To charge this battery, plug the Balance connector (small white connector) into the corresponding port on your balance charger. Charging will stop when your battery is fully charged, but you should never leave it on charge unattended.
• Remove the slide to access the battery compartment. To do this, pull back the mock hammer at the rear and lift the slide off towards the front.
• Put on eye protection. As soon as the pistol is powered, the risk of a discharge is present, even with no magazine inserted. When shooting, ensure both the shooter and any spectators are wearing Airsoft-rated eye protection.
• Insert your battery. Beneath the outer barrel, you’ll see a diagonal recess. Index the connector side of your battery with the recess, and push it in until firm. The battery can only be inserted one way, so if it feels too firm, try the opposite way.
• Replace the slide. With your balance cable tucked in neatly, place the slide back into the pistol, being careful to index the barrel with the port in the front of the slide.
• Load your magazine. Press the magazine release catch if your mag is inserted. Next, fill it up through the top, using a speed loader or by hand. We recommend either 0.20g BBs or 0.25g BBs for this AEP.
• With your eye protection on and the magazine filled, insert the magazine, and you’re ready to shoot. Never shoot Airsoft ammo beyond your property, at animals, or at humans who are not participating in an Airsoft skirmish on private land.

Platform Details

Starting at the front, we find an unthreaded outer barrel. While it’s a shame we can’t add a tracer or suppressor, the CM.125 looks great as it is, with its menacing, angular slide design.

The slide of this pistol is constructed from a dense, durable alloy, a big step up from other full-polymer AEPs. On the top of the slide, we have a set of open iron sights with white dots, ideal for quick target acquisition.

On the underside of the frame, we have a 20mm Picatinny rail adapter mounted to the ironically named “universal rail” built into the frame itself. Seeing this modern rail system on a 30-year-old pistol is refreshing, allowing modern tactical flashlights and aiming lasers to be easily mounted.

Following the frame rail, we come to the trigger guard, which is considerably enlarged to allow for full finger gloves. The front face of the guard features rough texturing to provide an extra index point to keep the front end under control using the “European” shooting grip.

The trigger itself perfectly matches the real thing, with a curved design intended to encourage proper finger positioning with the double action/single action trigger mech of the real steel.

The magazine release is in the usual spot for pistols of this style, where the trigger guard meets the pistol grip. This mag release is a pushdown-style lever like MK23 and MP7 platforms and is present on both sides, ideal for both left and right-handed shooters.

The textured grip is styled aggressively to maximise wet-weather handling and control of the pistol, an invaluable design feature for our fantastic UK weather. The front and rear feature pyramidal checkering, with textured panels on each side, just like the real deal.

At the base of the grip, we are also treated to a lanyard loop, allowing you to mount a  Pistol Retention Lanyard so your CM.125 doesn't go missing in the woods! Over on the left side of the frame, we find the slide lock, which is a dummy control on this AEP, but included to complete the detailed, realistic look.

The safety and decocker are found at the back of the pistol, on the left side of the frame. The decocker function doesn’t work on the CM.125, but the safety switch functions as a fire selector. With the selector switch horizontal, you’re in semi-automatic mode. Flip it down to reveal a “30” marked in red on the frame, and you’re in full-auto mode, ideal for keeping heads down with suppressive fire.

The adjustable HOP-up of the CM.125 is accessible with the slide removed, using the same process outlined in our "Quick Start Guide" above. Pull back the hammer to release the slide, and you'll find the gear-style HOP-up adjuster on the left side of the outer barrel. Turning this allows you to tune the amount of backspin applied to your BBs and adjust for different ammo weights, seeking the flattest possible trajectory.
