If you like to be at the cutting edge of Airsoft development, you're going to need this! The CYMA CM.136 Grach EBB; MOSFET Edition is an extremely innovative new form of Airsoft Electric Pistol which boasts an electric blowback system. Those old hats out there will have their preconceptions around EBB pistols, but make no mistake, this is nothing like the AAA battery-powered EBB pistols of old!

Thanks to its low resistance wiring, pre-installed MOSFET, ball bearing bushings and innovative battery in magazine design, the blowback is incredibly fast, allowing for rapid double taps and near-GBB-like speed. Trust us, when you shoot this thing you will be grinning from ear to ear!

Description

If you're looking for a winter sidearm with blowback, the CYMA CM.136 Grach EBB; MOSFET Edition is what you need. This Automatic Electric Pistol (AEP) makes use of an innovative battery-in-mag system which allows space for an internal electric blowback mechanism. Make no mistake, the CM.136 is nothing like the old-school electric blowback pistols which run off AAA batteries; this beast shoots fast with snappy blowback not too distant from a GBB pistol!

Inside, we are treated to a MOSFET control system which improves trigger response and controls cycling, ensuring the pistol completes a full gearbox cycle each time the trigger is pulled. The reinforced steel gears run on ball-bearing bushings, a big factor in the very impressive cycle speed of the CM.136. All of the wiring is low resistance, giving you the best possible efficiency and battery life. If the battery dies mid-game, fear not! You can rack the slide and use the CM.136 like a springer to get you out of a sticky situation!

The CM.136 is based on the real steel MP-443 Grach, a modern Russian service pistol currently in use with the Russian armed forces and police. The Grach is also featured in Battlefield: Bad Company and Battlefield 3 but is otherwise a lesser-seen platform but ideal for a Russian-themed loadout.

Starting at the front, we can see the brushed silver-coloured outer barrel protruding through the front of the slide. The barrel is constructed from ABS polymer and features mock rifling at the tip, though this does mean the barrel is unthreaded. The silver finish provides a nice bit of contrast and visual interest to the design, steering well clear of the tell-tale signs of being a replica.

The slide itself is also made from ABS and features serrations at the front and rear to aid cocking and open iron sights on the top. The sights are standard pistol-style open sights and non-adjustable, as combat sights found on pistols should be. At the rear of the slide, you can see the mock hammer which protrudes slightly from the rear of the slide. Its low profile design reduces snags and being an automatic pistol, it doesn't need to be cocked manually.

Mid-way along the slide, we can see the realistic chamber/ejection port which looks far closer to a real handgun than the average AEP. When the slide is locked back, the chamber stays open just like a GBB and also provides access to the unique adjustable HOP-up unit. The HOP-up adjuster takes the form of the dummy recoil rod beneath the barrel, accessible when the slide is locked back. Turning the recoil rod allows you to adjust the backspin applied to your BBs and extend your range with various ammo weights, looking for the flattest possible trajectory. It's always nice to see well-hidden HOP-ups like this, giving you the performance you need without compromising realism.

Moving down to the frame, we can take note of the recurved trigger guard, designed to provide an extra point of contact for the reaction hand when the Grach is held in the "European grip". The trigger guard is also slightly enlarged to allow for gloved use, a prerequisite of a pistol designed in the land of cold!

The controls are similar to other modern semi-automatic pistols, offering a slide-release catch on the left side, a push button magazine release on the left side of the grip and a manual safety catch just above. The manual safety locks the trigger and prevents the Grach from being shot and is mirrored on the opposite side with a non-functional safety added purely for looks. The slide release catch allows you to drop the slide after a reload, just like a GBB pistol!

The grip is a perfect match for the real MP-443 Grach, including its linear gripping grooves and ergonomic shape. The grip is very comfortable, a bit of a surprise given its Russian origin! As mentioned, the magazine release is on the left side and takes the form of a textured push button, a familiar design to almost anyone who has handled a modern pistol before.

The magazine is a very interesting design to say the least! Holding 15 BBs loaded through the fill/feed port at the top, this magazine also contains a 7.4V LiPo battery which powers the CM.136. The battery can be recharged using the included USB charger via the charging port located on the baseplate. Spare magazines are not yet available for the CM.136 Grach but as soon as they are, we will be stocking them!

If you like the idea of a blowback sidearm which is immune to the weather and remarkably snappy, the CYMA CM.136 Grach EBB; MOSFET Edition is the only option. This pistol has really impressed us and we are crossing our fingers for more future EBB releases from CYMA!

Special Instructions

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.

FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.

Tap the tabs below to open the relevant chart for your replica.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, and is the equivalent of 350fps, using 0.20g BB resulting in an upper limit of 1.14j.
