If you cannot justify the weight or excessive magnification of a full-sized rifle scope but want a bit of zoom in your life, the Delta Armory 3.5X30 Fixed Power Red/Green/Blue Dot Sight should suit your needs. This fixed power red dot optic provides 3.5x magnification for a clearer view of your targets at longer ranges while being barely heavier or larger than a standard 1X40 RDS with far less restrictive eye relief than ACOG-style fixed power combat optics (FPCO).

Based on the common 1x40 red dot sight with a front lens extension to provide extra magnification, the 3.5X30 Fixed Power Red/Green/Blue Dot Sight has superb eye relief, meaning your eye does not need to be an inch from the ocular lens to see through the optic clearly. This allows it to be forward-mounted in "Scout" configuration and gives you plenty of flexibility in your stance when shooting, unlike conventional rifle scopes.

Up top, you will find the illumination adjustment dial, which doubles as the battery compartment, offering 3 levels of brightness adjustment and the choice of either a red, green or blue dot reticle. The colour choice lets you set the reticle colour which stands out best against your operating environment, and 3 brightness levels for each colour allow you to adjust to get the clearest and crispest reticle in any ambient lighting conditions.

To install a battery, simply unscrew the top cap of the illumination dial and install a CR2032 3V button cell inside with the positive terminal facing upwards. With this done, reinstall the cap, select your colour and brightness settings and get to work!

Zero adjustment is present in the form of a pair of capped adjustment turrets, one on the top and one on the left side of the optic. The top turret controls elevation, and the left side adjusts windage. To apply your adjustments, unscrew the cap of each turret and use a flathead screwdriver to turn the internal dial until the reticle aligns with your point of impact. With your adjustment complete and your sights dead on, screw the turret caps back on to keep dirt and debris out!
