If you're working on a loadout with the special forces look, the Double Bell BY-811 M-416 Delta CAG AEG is the perfect primary! Designed to mimic the real steel M-416 setups used by US Delta Force, aka CAG, this full metal AEG is dressed to impress with an SMR-style handguard and TD-style pistol grip, replicating common modifications and upgrades used on real Delta-issued 416s.
Inside, the BY-811 is equipped with basic but highly upgradable internals, featuring a version 2 gearbox with an alloy shell, 18:1 ratio steel gears, 8mm bushings and a quick-change spring guide to make gearbox tuning and power adjustment that bit easier. Also inside is a modern rotary-style HOP-up unit paired with a 6.02mm tightbore inner barrel, providing an accuracy edge when set up correctly with high-quality BBs. All internals are standard TM AEG spec, meaning upgrade possibilities are practically unlimited!

Description
Inspired by 416 setups used by US Delta Force, also known as Combat Applications Group (CAG), the Double Bell BY-811 M-416 Delta CAG AEG makes a fantastic primary for a US Special Forces loadout. On the outside, this full metal build is rocking an SMR-style handguard, flip-up iron sights and a TD-style pistol grip, giving it less of a "standard issue" look than other M-416 AEGs with a healthy dose of the special forces aesthetic.
Inside, we are equipped with a highly upgradable version 2 gearbox, featuring an alloy shell, 18:1 ratio steel gears running on 8mm bushings and a quick-change spring system to make power tuning far easier. The inner barrel is also a 6.02mm tightbore example, improving accuracy and range with high-quality BBs. If you're after a full metal build with the special forces look, look no further than the Double Bell BY-811 M-416 Delta CAG AEG!
Starting at the tip of the outer barrel, we find an M4/AR-15 birdcage flash hider mounted to 14mm CCW male threading. The outer barrel is constructed from alloy to provide a strong backbone and keep the tightbore inner barrel nice and straight for perfect accuracy. If you want to mount a tracer unit, suppressor or alternative muzzle device, all you need to do is unscrew the flash hider and mount your preferred device, thanks to the common 14mm CCW threading at the tip of the barrel.
The front iron sight is a flip-up design, inspired by those added to real steel Delta Force/CAG builds, allowing you to keep them mounted and flipped down as backup sights while you use an optical sight. To deploy the sight, simply lift it up by hand. The front post is adjustable for elevation using an M4/AR-15 sight adjustment tool, though the most useful and fastest adjustments are on the rear sight.
Surrounding the outer barrel, we have a CNC aluminium "SMR" handguard with a 20mm Picatinny rail running along the top, ready for any 20mm accessories you choose to add to complete your mission. The SMR attachment interface is proprietary and not compatible with M-LOK without modification, though the set includes three 20mm rail adapters so you can mount 20mm Picatinny accessories. The major perk of the 416-style handguard interface is its keyed engagement with the upper receiver, ensuring the handguard will never loosen up and rotate.
The receiver should be a familiar sight to anyone who has handled an M4/AR-15 platform before, constructed from alloy and matching the 416 receiver style perfectly. This includes the more vertical magwell angle, mil-spec flat trigger guard, magazine release fence and raised upper 20mm Picatinny receiver rail, ready for a red dot sight or scope. The magazine release is on the right side of the magazine well, with a push-through design just like a standard M4/AR-15 AEG with a textured surface for optimal traction.
The rear iron sight is pre-mounted to the rear of the receiver rail, though, like the front, it can be easily removed if not needed. To flip it up, simply lift it, and to adjust windage, turn the dial on the right side. Elevation adjustments are applied using the rotary dial below the sight aperture.
The fire selector switch is just above the pistol grip on the right side, offering 3 modes of fire with a 90-degree throw between each. The fire modes are safe, semi-auto and full auto, just like the real deal. The pistol grip is a comfortable, ergonomic design inspired by the real steel TD pistol grip, often seen on CAG setups in the wild. While it looks fantastic and completes the look, the TD grip is also very comfortable, thanks to its rounded "hot spots" and crackle texture panels.
The charging handle can be found at the top rear of the receiver and features an extended charging handle latch to provide easy access when wearing gloves. Pulling the charging handle back will pop the dust cover open and retract the mock bolt, revealing the rotary Magnus™ HOP-up unit on the right side. The HOP-up allows you to adjust the amount of backspin applied to your projectiles and tune the M-416 Delta CAG for different ammo weights, looking for the flattest possible trajectory. When you've completed your adjustments, you can slap the "ping pong paddle" style bolt release catch on the left side of the receiver to drop the mock bolt with a satisfying metal-on-metal "clank".
Up top, we have a 20mm Picatinny receiver rail with a preinstalled rear iron sight. The rear sight offers the choice of 4 different aiming apertures, designed for engagements at different ranges and in different ambient lighting conditions. If you prefer to run an optical sight, you can loosen the screws with an Allen key on the left side of the iron sights and remove them to access the full length of your receiver rail.
At the rear of the receiver, we come to the steel CQD-style sling plate, which offers ambidextrous functionality with single-point slings; perfect for left or right-handed shooters. The steel construction practically guarantees that no matter what you choose to mount to the M-416 Delta CAG, the sling plate will be strong enough to support the weight.
To the rear of the sling plate, we come to the M4/AR-15 buffer tube, which is constructed from the same strong, high-density polymer used for the receiver. The buffer tube offers 6 positions of stock adjustment and boasts a low-snag design to keep mobility high. The adjustment lever is located on the bottom and is well concealed inside the design, allowing the stock to be lengthened and shortened to suit the environment and play style. We don't recommend using the visible loop sling points on the stock, as they are made from polymer; we would recommend using the slot in the middle of the stock instead.
The battery compartment is inside the buffer tube. To access the battery compartment, you need to remove the stock entirely by pulling the adjustment lever out and sliding the stock off to the rear. Inside, you will find a mini-Tamiya battery connector to which you mount your chosen battery. We recommend a 7.4V 1450mAh LiPo in stick config for easy installation and perfect performance.
If you love a military-style AEG with a special forces vibe, the Double Bell BY-811 M-416 Delta CAG AEG is a great choice. A solid full metal build with plenty of upgrade potential, the M-416 Delta CAG brings the elite look for a great price.

Joule Charts
Special Instructions
These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.
FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.
Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
Tap the tabs below to open the relevant chart for your replica.
This table should be used for reference, and cannot be used to check one weight against another, as the weight of the BB affects the power.
In order to check if the BB can be used with your replica chronograph using the weight you wish to use and then compare it against the table.
Every time you change weights you will need to re-chrono and check against the table. This is not a conversion chart between weights.
Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, and is the equivalent of 350fps, using 0.20g BB resulting in an upper limit of 1.14j.
