Description
The real MS2000 strobe has been used by all the big names in Special Forces worldwide, including UKSF, Navy SEALs, Delta Force, amongst many others. The real MS2000 was designed to help provide IFF (Identify; Friend or Foe) for soldiers operating in poor visibility and can provide a way for close air support assets to identify targets and friendly controlled locations.
No matter the loadout, adding this to your lid will bump it up a notch in looks, and given the price of the real deal, it is a relief that EmersonGear provides an alternative for those of us who don't have money to burn on equipment that provides no advantage (other than looking darn good) on the skirmish field. The warning stickers on the dummy MS2000 are perfectly accurate to the real deal, and for the stitch counters, even the NSN number is accurate! The unit does have moving parts; the safety lock for the activation button can be moved, the IR shield can be extended and the dummy on/off switch can be moved. The unit also comes with a piece of self-adhesive velcro which can be attached to the rear of the unit to allow it to be mounted on gear and helmets.
