Inside, this variant is equipped with an EShooter FLARE Mono tracer unit, a compact muzzle flash tracer which is already on the market and is well respected. The unit can be used either inside the Helios DT or separately using the included 11mm CW thread adapter, meaning if you need a suppressor for your rifle and a compact tracer for your pistol, this set can do both at once!
The "DT" in the name denotes "direct thread", meaning you can rock the ultra-modern suppressor look without the excess weight or complication of a QD mechanism, the valuable niche the Helios DT occupies in the real steel suppressor market. Description
If you need a tracer unit which suits a realistic rifle build, the EMG CGS Group Helios DT Airsoft Suppressor; FLARE Mono Tracer is the one! Made from CNC-machined aluminium and licensed by CGS Suppressors via EMG, the Helios DT is a direct thread tracer suppressor designed for 14mm CCW male barrel threads present on most Airsoft AEG and GBBR platforms.
Thanks to official licensing from CGS, the Helios DT boasts realistic trademarks and 5.56mm calibre markings, elevating realism for any rifle build. To aid mounting, removal and accessing the internals, the collar of the Helios DT is hexagonal, allowing you to get additional purchase using common wrenches or pliers. We recommend covering the collar with a rag before hitting it with tools to ensure you don't mar the finish.
Inside this version of the Helios DT, we have a FLARE Mono tracer unit, offering 3 modes of operation controlled via the button on the rear of the module, accessible by unthreading the QD collar at the rear. Available modes include muzzle flash only, tracer + muzzle flash and tracer only, making the SCI-SIX suitable for any playstyle, from sneaky to aggressive!
The FLARE Mono module is powered by an internal rechargeable battery and can be recharged using the included USB Type-C cable. The charging port is on the front of the FLARE Mono, requiring its own housing to be unscrewed to access it. This makes the unit economical to run, but does require the battery to be charged every 2 months to maintain battery health.
The set includes a 14mm CCW to 11mm CW female thread adapter, allowing the included FLARE Mono Tracer to be removed and fitted to a WE, Armorer Works or Army Armament GBB pistol. You could also use this adapter to mount the Helios DT itself to your pistol, though its weight means gas efficiency will be considerably reduced (we don't recommend this).
