The SCI-SIX mounts via an innovative QD mechanism, allowing you to quickly mount and remove the suppressor from the included flash hider. Avoiding the need for fiddly catches and buttons, the SCI-SIX QD mech is essentially enlarged threading, requiring a clockwise turn (looking from the muzzle end) to remove the suppressor.

The included flash hider is made from steel, mounting to 14mm CCW male barrel threads, secured using a grub screw. It's important that the grub screw is fully tightened before you attempt to mount the suppressor; not doing this can cause the threads to bind.

Like the Tracer version, this version of the SCI-SIX can be disassembled to allow a tracer module of 28mm diameter to be installed. If you're using a FLARE M or FLARE Mono, you can install your module between the two aluminium spacers inside, or mount the unit to the internal 14mm CCW male threading. The threading will also accept other tracer units for 14mm CCW, including slightly larger modules, though you'll have to remove the internal aluminium spacers to use the threading.

Special Instructions

The included flash hider mounts via 14mm CCW male threads and is secured using a grub screw. If you attempt to mount the suppressor with the grub screw loose and proud of the QD threads, it can become stuck. Please ensure the grub screw is either fully tightened or removed before you mount the suppressor to the flash hider.
