EMG CGS Group SCI-SIX Airsoft Suppressor; FLARE Mono Tracer

If you're after a tracer unit but prioritise realism, the EMG CGS Group SCI-SIX Airsoft Suppressor; FLARE Mono Tracer is a great shout. Made from CNC-machined aluminium with a steel flash hider included, the SCI-SIX boasts licensed CGS Group trademarks and superb build quality, making it the perfect finishing touch for a rifle build which needs to be realistic.

The SCI-SIX uses an innovative QD mechanism, allowing you to quickly mount and remove the suppressor from the included flash hider. Avoiding the need for fiddly catches and buttons, the SCI-SIX QD mech is essentially enlarged threading, requiring a clockwise turn (looking from the muzzle end) to remove the suppressor. The included flash hider mounts to 14mm CCW male barrel threads and is secured using a grub screw. It's important that the grub screw is fully tightened before you attempt to mount the suppressor; not doing this can cause the threads to bind.

Inside this version of the SCI-SIX, we have a FLARE Mono tracer unit, offering 3 modes of operation controlled via the button on the rear of the module, accessible by unthreading the QD collar at the rear. Available modes include muzzle flash only, tracer + muzzle flash and tracer only, making the SCI-SIX suitable for any playstyle, from sneaky to aggressive!

The FLARE Mono module is powered by an internal rechargeable battery and can be recharged using the included USB Type-C cable. The charging port is on the front of the FLARE Mono, requiring its own housing to be unscrewed to access it. This makes the unit economical to run, but does require the battery to be charged every 2 months to maintain battery health.

The set includes a 14mm CCW to 11mm CW female thread adapter, allowing the included FLARE Mono Tracer to be removed and fitted to a WE, Armorer Works or Army Armament GBB pistol. You could also use this adapter to mount the entire SCI-SIX to your pistol, though its weight means gas efficiency will be considerably reduced (we don't recommend this).

Special Instructions

The included flash hider mounts via 14mm CCW male threads and is secured using a grub screw. If you attempt to mount the suppressor with the grub screw loose and proud of the QD threads, it can become stuck. Please ensure the grub screw is either fully tightened or removed before you mount the suppressor to the flash hider.
