- Full metal construction
- Licensed by Taran Tactical & STACCATO
- CO2 Version - Superb cold-weather performance
If you love unique builds bristling with licensed trademarks, the EMG R620 STACCATO X TTI JW3 Combat Master; CO2 Version should raise an eyebrow! An exciting hybrid of a TTI-licensed JW3 slide and barrel with a STACCATO-style frame, this perfect pairing of high-end Hi-Capas boasts a CNC-machined slide and frame, steel hammer group parts and a redesigned cold-resistant nozzle, enhancing rapidfire performance and durability.
Naturally, the STACCATO X TTI JW3 is full metal, and its super fine CNC machining really makes the details pop, with a varied finish on the slide serrations which matches the real thing perfectly. The combat-ready features of the original JW3 build remain, including its light-enhancing iron sights, flared magazine well, trigger guard undercuts, extended mag catch and stipple-textured grip. Just like the original STACCATO series and JW3, this beast handles like an absolute dream!
This is the CO2 version, boasting even stronger recoil than the green gas versions with superb cold-weather performance, which will keep it kicking long after green gas pistols have to hibernate. If you're a fan of both TTI and STACCATO, this should be your dream sidearm!

Description
If you love licensed replicas inspired by rare real steel hybrid builds, the EMG R620 STACCATO X TTI JW3 Combat Master; CO2 Version has your name on it! Styled after the real TTI X STACCATO JW3, made in limited quantities for the John Wick 3 Combat Master Box Set from Deluxe Arms, this is a definite head turner. An interesting pairing of a JW3 slide and barrel with a STACCATO-style frame, this build gives you a perfect blend of the two most iconic premium 2011 brands on the real steel market.
Equipped with a CNC-machined aluminium slide and frame, a steel hammer and hammer group parts, a new cold-resistant nozzle and a redesigned magazine knocker valve, this build has the same robust internals as STACCATO and JW3 "Upgraded" variants. This version is also powered by CO2, meaning it kicks like a mule and runs far better in cold weather.
The real steel Taran Tactical Innovations JW3 Combat Master featured in John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum (2019) wielded by our hero to great effect against innumerable goons. STACCATO 2011 Hi-Capas are famed for their premium looks and superb performance in the real steel world, both in combat and competitive applications. If you're struggling to choose between a JW3 and STACCATO sidearm, now you don't have to!
Starting at the front, we can find 11mm CW female threading at the tip of the authentically coloured bronze outer barrel, allowing a tracer unit or suppressor to be fitted if you add an 11mm CW thread adapter . The barrel is finished in the iconic TTI bronze colouration, giving the build a bit of contrast to make it stand out
At the front of the slide, we cannot help but notice the crisp angles and perfect machining; a massive improvement over the cast alloy slides found on most full-metal Hi-Capas, including the original AA JW3. Use of CNC machining for the slide and frame makes the build feel like a high-end aftermarket body kit, as does its prominent licensed Taran Tactical Innovations trademarks.
As with the original and the real thing, you'll find dynamic swept-back slide serrations at both the front and rear, allowing you to cock the hybrid JW3 whichever way you like and benefit from maximum traction in any weather condition.
On either side of the slide, we have a single port cut at an angle to match the slide serrations, giving us a glimpse of the bronze outer barrel beneath. This is a bit part of the now iconic Taran Tactical look, and as with the serrations, are flawlessly cut with not a blemish to be found. Up top, we have our front iron sight, which is a light-enhancing sight with a red insert. This type of sight is fantastic for low-light use and fast target acquisition, the perfect front sight for the lightning-fast JW3!
The rear sight is positioned at the rear of the slide (as it should be!) and is constructed from steel, offering both windage and elevation adjustment. Windage adjustments can be applied using the flathead screw on the right side, and the screw on the top controls elevation adjustment. Adjustable sights are rare on a pistol, and these ones are fantastic; if you intend to shoot at long range with your Hybrid JW3, make sure you zero them in!
The adjustable HOP-up of the Hybrid JW3 is located on the bottom of the outer barrel and is accessible with the slide removed, in "field stripped" condition. To remove the slide, you will first need to remove the magazine and rack the slide to cock the hammer. With this done, you can pull the slide back to align the slide lock lever with the rearmost cutout on the left side of the slide.
With the slide in this position, you can push the slide release catch through from the right side of the frame, after which the slide can be slid forward and removed from the front of the pistol. The adjustable HOP-up allows you to tune the JW3 for different ammo weights and extend your range, adjusting the dial until the trajectory is as flat as possible.
Next up, we reach the STACCATO-licensed frame, boasting a full-length 20mm Picatinny rail at the front, as any combat-ready Hi-Capa deserves! This rail allows tactical flashlights and laser aiming modules to be mounted, but being a full rail as opposed to the usual pistol rail with a single slot, you can mount whatever 20mm accessory you want, even a bipod! The frame rail is also weight-reduced in the centre, just like the real thing.
On each side of the frame, we are treated to STACCATO X TTI trademarks, with a "STACCATO" and TTI logo on the right side and "2011®" on the left. These markings match the real custom build perfectly, and the combination markings on the frame ensure you can't build this by halving a normal STACCATO and JW3!
Moving along the frame, we come to the slide lock/release catch, which is slightly extended compared to a 1911 platform but not so extended that it gets in the way. The upper surface is equipped with serrations for all-weather functionality and is weight-reduced in the centre to maintain the JW3's superb handling qualities.
The manual safety catch is ambidextrous, located at the rear of the frame, well within the reach of either a left or right-handed shooter's thumb when the JW3 is held in a firing grip. This safety allows you to carry "cocked and locked" and also serves as a thumb rest, encouraging a consistent shooting grip with every draw.
The secondary safety device of the 1911 and Hi-Capa platforms is also present at the rear of the grip, known as the "beavertail grip safety". This safety ensures the trigger cannot be pulled unless the pistol is held properly, avoiding potential negligent discharges, which are more likely due to the short and light trigger pull. The grip safety has a slight extension to ensure it disengages when you need to shoot and includes an extended section at the top, intended to protect the web of the hand from "hammer bite".
As with most Hi-Capas, the grip is a modular part which can be replaced with an almost unlimited number of aftermarket options, though the pre-installed hand-stippled STACCATO grip is about as good as they get! The grip is integral with the trigger guard, boasting fine stipple texture on each side, the front and rear, just like real STACCATO grip modules.
The texture provides superb gripping qualities, whether you wear gloves or not. We aren't sure whether this is hand-stippled, but it feels fantastic, gentle enough that it won't shred your hands but aggressive enough to keep the JW3 lodged firmly in your hands.
The magazine release is on the left side of the grip, easily reached with the thumb thanks to its extended surface, complete with diamond checkering. This is a standard push-through design just like other Hi-Capas, but its enlarged surface allows for faster reloads and makes this essential control far easier to find in a hurry, whether you're mid-battle or working against the clock in a shooting competition.
At the base of the grip, we can find what is known as a "magazine well extension" or "flared magwell". This allows for faster reloads by guiding the magazine in, making speedy reloads with adrenaline coursing through your veins far more achievable.
With experience, this can also allow for reloading on the move and "eyes-up" reloads, allowing you to continue to scan for targets as you bring your platform back online. Naturally, the Hybrid JW3's magwell is a STACCATO-style magwell, pairing perfectly with the STACCATO grip module.
Inside, this Upgraded Version of the Hybrid JW3 is very well equipped, boasting steel hammer group parts and a steel hammer to go with its new CNC-machined external parts. The inner barrel is a 6.03mm tightbore, raising FPS and improving accuracy potential as long as you do your part.
Also inside is Army Armament's new cold-resistant nozzle, designed for improved consistency and resistance to the "cooldown" effect. Being powered by CO2, this version stays on form even during winter, with recoil which would make a Desert Eagle jealous!
The O-rings, gas routers and other rubber parts are now made from a new formula, integrating silicone into the mix for improved cold-weather performance. The magazine knocker valve has also been redesigned, showing that Army Armament is on the ball when it comes to improving its products and wants us to have the best sidearm possible!
If you love a blend of premium pistols with flawless externals and robust steel internals, you'll never put the EMG R620 STACCATO X TTI JW3 Combat Master; CO2 Version down! A stunner of a build with an exciting build inspiration, this Hybrid JW3 gives us the best of both worlds!
