Description

The real-steel Salient Arms RED 1911 was developed by taking the performance-driven DNA of the DS 2011 platform and applying it to a traditional single-stack 1911 frame. The result is a pistol where every cut, contour and surface serves a purpose, enhancing control, reducing glare and maximising shootability. EMG has faithfully recreated this philosophy in Airsoft form with the Salient Arms x EMG RED 1911 Training Pistol.

Constructed from CNC-machined aluminium alloy, both the frame and slide provide excellent durability while keeping weight balanced and realistic. The slide features a machined anti-glare top surface, reducing reflections when aiming in bright conditions and adding to the aggressive Salient Arms aesthetic. Deeply engraved Salient Arms International trademarks and a realistic external finish give the pistol an authentic, premium feel in the hand.

Up front, the titanium nitride-style SAI barrel stands out visually while reinforcing the pistol’s competition-inspired heritage. The pistol is equipped with combat-style front and rear sights, featuring an integrated fibre optic insert up front for fast target acquisition in both bright and low-light environments.

Ergonomics are a major focus of the RED 1911. The pistol features SAI 2011-style grip panels, offering excellent traction and control during rapid fire, along with an ambidextrous safety to accommodate both left- and right-handed shooters. An integrated accessory rail on the frame allows for the attachment of lights or lasers, making the RED 1911 equally at home in training, skirmishing or display roles.

Internally, the pistol utilises the proven Tokyo Marui–style 1911 gas system, giving it access to a huge aftermarket of upgrade and replacement parts. This makes the RED 1911 easy to maintain, repair and tune over time. The pistol is compatible with both green gas and CO2 magazines from AW Custom / WE, allowing users to tailor recoil and performance to their preference.

With its 1:1 scale operation, realistic blowback action and uncompromising attention to detail, the Salient Arms x EMG RED 1911 isn’t just another 1911; it’s a premium Airsoft training pistol built with the same mindset as its real-steel counterpart.

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.

FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
