Description
High performance meets attractive style, that's what the EMG Strike Industries 4" Raiders Competition PDW AEG Rifle is. This compact Airsoft M4 is exactly what you need if you find yourself in close-quarters skirmishing. With this nimble platform, you can maintain full agility whilst also outshooting your opponents!
Starting at the front of this PDW, we find the first bit of Strike Industries' style, an aluminium replica of the SI OPPRESSOR muzzle device. This thing is menacing, adding an aggressive style to the front of what should be a cute, stubby platform. Its gun metal grey colour and Strike Industries trademarks draw attention immediately, but if, for some reason, you don't like it, you can remove it to reveal 14mm CCW threading.
Moving rearwards, we are treated to the cutest little aluminium M-LOK handguard, which is a much shorter replica of Strike's popular Strike Rail. This 4" front end has one M-LOK slot at the 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions, just one slot! Running along the top, there is a tiny section of 20mm Picatinny rail that connects seamlessly with the receiver, trying to maximise the scope setup rail space on this teeny tiny platform.
Next up, we come to the receiver. It is beautifully CNC-machined from aluminium and features Strike Industries' trademarks all over it. Most notable are the ones on the magazine well, which have been engraved into the actual metal, giving the receiver a textured, premium look. The receiver has a 20mm Picatinny top rail, and there are iron sights preinstalled, which have adjustable windage and elevation.
As you may notice, there are many blue parts on the receiver; anything that is blue is almost definitely a replica of a genuine Strike Industries part. Some replica parts include the Ultralight Takedown Pin, Extended Charging Handle, Enhanced Bolt Catch Release and Cobra Billet Trigger Guard. These all add to the premium style and feel of this PDW, elevating it to levels above similar platforms.
Speaking of the AEG's controls, they are all located in the typical M4 spots, just with ergonomic or aesthetic enhancements. The charging handle can be pulled to open the ejection port and lock back the mock bolt, granting you access to the HOP-up unit. Once you have adjusted your HOP, you can press the Enhanced Bolt Catch Release to send the mock bolt back with a satisfying "ring"!
The pistol grip of this platform is another replica of a genuine Strike Industries part. It is based on the AR Overmolded Enhanced Pistol Grip. It features crackle texturing on the left and right flanks, and then a horizontal ribbed design on the front and back. This improves gripping qualities immensely and adds style points for its Strike trademarks and real-world design.
At the rear of the receiver, we come to the Strike Industries PDW stock, another replica of a real Strike Industries part. This spring-loaded PDW stock represents the pinnacle of ultra compact systems. It can be compressed in making the platform extremely short, then with a press of the button, the stock will deploy and lock out. It has a rubber buffer tube plug, which makes a decent cheek rest and also keeps the battery compartment water-tight.
To access the battery compartment, pull the rubber seal off the buffer tube, and it will reveal a Deans connector. As this is an ultra compact PDW platform, you will need an ultra small PDQ stock tube battery. As this platform is 11.1V-ready thanks to its incredible internals, we recommend an 11.1V 600mAh PDW Battery for an easy fit.
Internally, the EMG Strike Industries 4" Raiders Competition PDW is packing a whole lot of punch. It has been treated to the best internals CYMA currently has to offer. The gearbox shell is a version 3 design with reinforcements in all the key places, the gears are CNC steel 13.1 ratio high-speed examples, and the motor is a neodymium magnet high torque motor, guaranteeing a speedy rate of fire which will have the enemy on the run!
The gearbox internals are also all upgraded, including a polycarbonate piston with a steel tooth rack, 8mm steel ball bearing bushings, a CNC aluminium ball bearing silent piston head, a ball bearing spring guide and a double O-ring equipped CNC aluminium silent cylinder head, promising smooth performance, flawless air seal qualities and enhanced durability to maintain reliability at high-performance parameters. The EShooter Kestrel Basic MOSFET is the icing on the cake, offering 6 levels of adjustable pre-cocking, options for 3-round burst and binary trigger, along with low battery warning, cycle completion, active braking and low/high voltage cutoff.

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.
FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.
Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.

This table should be used for reference, and cannot be used to check one weight against another, as the weight of the BB affects the power.
In order to check if the BB can be used with your replica chronograph using the weight you wish to use and then compare it against the table.
Every time you change weights you will need to re-chrono and check against the table. This is not a conversion chart between weights.
