Platform Details
Starting at the front or the short variant, we can find a licensed replica of the Strike Industries Oppressor linear compensator, a device designed to reduce felt recoil and muzzle rise in the real steel. The Oppressor keeps everything on-brand and suits the aggressive front end of the short SI-90, but can be switched out for a tracer unit or suppressor if the mission requires, thanks to 14mm CCW male threading at the tip of the outer barrel.
The long variant features a PS90-style barrel extension instead of the Oppressor compensator, keeping the build realistic with a 16.5-inch overall barrel length and the built-in PS90 flash hider. If you want to add a tracer or suppressor to the long variant, swap the PS90 extension out for a threaded barrel extension, and you can use any 14mm CCW device of less than 38mm diameter.
Next up, we have a flawless, licensed replica of the Strike Aluminium handguard for the PS90 modular chassis, giving you a bit more to hold onto than a standard P90 and 20mm Picatinny rails on the top and bottom, ready for accessories.
Each side of the handguard features M-LOK slots, allowing you to add M-LOK accessories like flashlights. If you prefer a more compact build, the handguard can be removed to reveal a simple 20mm Picatinny rail at 6 o’clock, ideally used with a compact vertical grip. The long variant handguard features rows of 3 M-LOK slots, and the compact handguard of the short variant has rows of a single slot, ideally suited to an M-LOK-mounted tactical flashlight.
The upper receiver assembly is constructed entirely from aluminium alloy, increasing strength and adding a realistic feel. On either side, we have a 20mm Picatinny side rail and up top, a full-length receiver rail, ready for a red dot sight or scope. The side rails are ideal for a tactical flashlight or laser unit, but they can also be removed to save weight.
The top rail is also removable and includes built-in emergency backup sights, which can be viewed through the rail itself, whether you have an optic mounted or not. The upper also has two sets of additional backup sights, one on either side of the rail. These are machined as part of the upper receiver assembly and are intended for use when a P90 integral reflex sight is mounted.
The charging handles are just below the upper assembly and mirrored on either side. In the SI-90, the charging handles are just for the look, but they can be pulled back. The realistic steel construction of the charging handle bars adds a touch of visual interest with its contrasting gunmetal grey colour finish.
Next up, we reach the chassis itself, a radical departure from the standard P90 chassis. The chassis was designed with a greater emphasis on fighting from a standing position, with a more vertical grip angle, an adjustable cheek riser and a slightly longer butt plate. In terms of design language, the chassis carries the recognisable Strike Industries aesthetic, with angled surfaces and an overall ultra-modern vibe.
At the front of the chassis, we are treated to a QD sling socket on each side, something the original P90 lacked. Paired with the rear QD sockets at the heel of the stock, these can be used to mount a two-point sling, which can be quickly and easily disconnected. If you're after a high-quality sling which is ready to rock with the SI-90, we recommend the HASTA Adaptive Mission Sling Gen.4.
The fire selector can be found below the trigger and is a rotary design which is accessible from either side, adding to the SI-90's already exceptional ergonomics and pairing well with its other ambidextrous features.
The safe position, denoted by a white "S", provides a trigger lock; the "1" position, denoting semi-automatic, provides a rapid single shot, and the fully-automatic position, denoted with an "A", provides a two-stage trigger, with a short press firing a single shot, and a long extended press firing fully automatic. Visually identifying these positions is aided by the coloured markings, with dangerous modes marked in red and the safe mode in white.
Following the selector and trigger, we come to the pistol grip, one of the biggest changes from the original P90. The grip features textured panels on either side for improved traction and is set at an angle more akin to the M4/AR-15, rather than the “semi-pistol grip” style of the original. This makes the SI-90 more comfortable to wield from a standing position and is a big part of its ultra-modern aesthetic.
The pistol grip is a “thumbhole” design, linking to the stock section of the chassis to improve strength. The thumbhole also helps support the palm for improved ergonomics and better weight distribution, especially when the SI-90 is decked out with accessories.
The adjustable HOP-up of the SI-90 is inside the stock, accessible through a small port inside the stock thumbhole. The port will need to be opened by hand, but once it has been opened, you'll see the rotary adjuster wheel inside. The HOP-up allows you to vary the amount of backspin applied to your BBs, seeking the flattest possible trajectory with your chosen ammo weight.
On top of the SI-90 chassis, we can find the magazine release, uniquely placed due to the top-feeding design. While it will take some getting used to, having the mag on the top means you don’t need to rotate the platform to reload when in the prone position, making the SI-90 a great platform for woodland warfare. To release the mag, simply pull both magazine release tabs rearwards, and it will pop free.
Behind the magazine release, we are treated to an adjustable cheek rest, allowing you to raise and lower it to ensure you get a clear view through your sights. To adjust the cheek rest, loosen the Allen bolts on either side, set the cheek rest where you want it, then retighten the bolts. The cheek rest can also be removed and stashed if you need extra clearance for full-face protection.
At the rear, we have a grippy rubber butt plate, a vast improvement over the original P90’s minimalist butt plate design, ideal for body armour-clad shooters. The battery compartment is inside the rear of the chassis, accessible with the two pins at the rear removed.
With the butt plate removed, you should see a Deans battery connector with a QR code sticker attached. Scanning the QR code takes you to the programming instructions for the EShooter ETU. We recommend a 7.4V 1000mAh LiPo battery for an easy fit and solid performance.
Internals
Inside, the SI-90 is an impressive advancement on the original TM P90 design, equipped with a pre-upgraded version 6 gearbox with TM-compatible internals. As you'll receive it, the gearbox features a quick-change spring for easy power tuning, a high-torque motor for a snappy trigger feel, a polymer piston with a robust steel tooth rack and 18:1 ratio CNC steel gears running on 9mm bushings.
The highlight of the internal build is the EShooter Kestrel V6 Basic ETU, a unique design making its debut in the stylish SI-90. The Kestrel eliminates the usual trigger bar linkage in standard P90s, resulting in a snappy trigger feel which can easily keep up with rival designs. Its other party tricks include programmable fire modes, including 3-round burst and binary trigger, along with 5 levels of pre-cocking adjustment so you can crank your trigger response up to maximum!

Joule Charts
Special Instructions
These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.
FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.
Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
Tap the tabs below to open the relevant chart for your replica.
This table should be used for reference, and cannot be used to check one weight against another, as the weight of the BB affects the power.
In order to check if the BB can be used with your replica chronograph using the weight you wish to use and then compare it against the table.
Every time you change weights you will need to re-chrono and check against the table. This is not a conversion chart between weights.
Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, and is the equivalent of 350fps, using 0.20g BB resulting in an upper limit of 1.14j.
