- High-density polymer receiver
- G2 ETU & MOSFET inside
- 4 Position selector with 3-round burst
If you collect modern military replicas and don't have the service rifle of the Taiwanese military, G&G has your back! The GTW91-P T91 Assault Rifle AEG is part of G&G's GT Advanced training rifle range, equipped with a magazine cutoff system which stops the rifle from firing when the included magazine runs dry. This is the -P version, constructed with a high density polymer receiver but otherwise matching the metal-to-polymer proportions of the real T91.
Inside, we're treated to G&G's G2 MOSFET and ETU system, the refined version of the original G2, which is more compact than ever before, far more resistant to faults, and now includes pre-cocking along with the usual 3-round burst and 5-round burst programmable options. The gearbox itself is a reinforced V2 with 18:1 steel gears running on 8mm brass bushings, a padded piston head, double o-ring nozzle and quick-change spring system. G&G's much lauded 25K Orange IRFIT high-speed motor delivers the speed needed for snappy double taps, and a quick-change spring system makes power tuning a breeze.
Also inside is G&G's latest rotary HOP-up unit design, a superb quality rotary with tactile clicks as you adjust, a big improvement over the previous gear-style unit. If you're after a rare rifle with AR-15 lineage but packed with perks and ready to rock on 11.1V LiPo batteries, the G&G Armament GTW91-P T91 Assault Rifle AEG should be your next primary!

Description
Whether you're working on a Taiwanese Military loadout or you love a realistic build which stands out, the G&G Armament GTW91-P T91 Assault Rifle AEG should be in your sights! A top-notch replica of the real steel T91 assault rifle with realistic trademarks, fantastic attention to detail and G&G's elite GT Advanced series internals, this is the "-P" version, equipped with a high-density polymer receiver but otherwise perfectly matching the metal-to-polymer proportions of the real deal.
Inside, the T91 is rocking G&G's GT Advanced series internals, including a newly designed reinforced V2 gearbox with 18:1 ratio steel gears running on 8mm brass bushings. The piston head is padded to reduce impact force on the gearbox shell, and the nozzle is a double O-ring type, enhancing air seal and minimising shot-to-shot FPS deviation. The quick-change spring guide allows for easy spring swaps without opening the gearbox shell, and the impressive 25K Orange IRFIT motor provides an incredible trigger response and rate of fire, toe-to-toe with G&G's game-changing ARP9.
The G&G G2 MOSFET and ETU provide programmable fire controls and allow for reliable performance using 11.1V LiPo batteries, something few UK market AEGs can boast straight out of the box. This G2 MOSFET is the mid-life refined version, a more compact unit with improved reliability and the option to run pre-cocking added, along with the usual 3 and 5-round burst fire mode options. If you like a super-serious military-style replica with performance to challenge G&G's more player-friendly ARP series, the G&G Armament GTW91-P T91 Assault Rifle AEG will put a big smile on your face!
Starting at the front, we can find a detailed reproduction of the T91 multi-port flash hider, a combination device with a flash-concealing cage at the front and muzzle brake-style ports towards the rear, designed to both reduce felt recoil and conceal the shooter's position in real steel form. While this is the perfect device for the issued T91 look, you can swap it out with ease for any of the most common Airsoft tracer units and suppressors thanks to the barrel's 14mm CCW male threading.
Moving rearwards, we can take note of the outer barrel's "pencil" style profile, included in the real T91 to keep the rifle light and allow the barrel to cool more quickly between short-duration firefights. Following the barrel back brings us to the front sight/gas block, complete with a steel dummy gas key at the front and an adjustable front sight post at the top, protected on either side with wings to prevent bumps and scrapes from messing up your sight picture.
On the left side of the gas block, we can find a steel sling point which is mounted on a rotary swivel, ready for a two-point sling to be mounted using the sling slots on the stock. If you don't run a sling, you can rotate the sling point to sit almost flush with the handguard, preventing snags, so you maintain in-game agility. On the bottom of the gas block, we're equipped with a short 20mm Picatinny rail ideal for mounting a tactical flashlight, bipod or vertical foregrip.
Next up, we come to the handguards of the T91, a unique design made from G&G's top-notch high-density polymer with a realistic crackle textured finish and no flex, wobble, or movement to be found. The top features threaded holes designed to mount a grenade launcher ladder sight, but the more technical people may be able to source a rail which will fit. The bottom is adorned with ribs to improve traction, and the top features ventilation ports to help the piston operating system stay cool in the real steel.
The handguards also serve as the battery compartment, requiring the pin at the front to be pushed through from the left side of the rifle and removed. With the pin removed, you can slide the lower handguard forward and lever it off the rifle. Beneath the handguards, you'll find a mini-Tamiya battery connector to which you mount your choice of battery. We recommend an 11.1V 1300mAh LiPo in crane/nunchuck configuration for an easy fit and beastly 11.1V performance!
As we arrive at the receiver, things start to look familiar, but only if you don't look too closely! The layout closely matches that of the M4/AR-15, but the fine details all match the real T91 rifle perfectly. The cam pin bulge on the left side of the upper is squared off, and the bolt catch recess is extended. Over on the right side of the upper, we're missing the brass deflector and forward assist of the M4, and instead we have a clean, snag-free shape which matches the real steel T91 to a tee.
The lower receiver is a similar story. At a glance, you would be forgiven for thinking this is a standard M4 lower, but the fire selector has something special in store! A four-position selector switch similar in shape to an M4/AR-15, the T91 selector offers 4 fire modes: safe, semi-auto, 3-round burst and fully automatic. Like the M4, the selector increments are 90 degrees, but unlike the M4, this selector can be rotated 360 degrees, meaning even if you're laying down full auto, it's only a short throw to safe mode.
On the left side of the magazine well, we are treated to authentic trademarks which perfectly match the real steel T91, including calibre and arsenal markings. While the receiver is made from G&G's fantastic polymer, you would be hard pressed to tell, thanks to the precise nature of the markings, perfectly imitating engraving on forged aluminium. The magazine release is on the right side of the magazine well, easily within reach of the trigger finger when the T91 is held in a firing grip.
Pulling back the charging handle, located at the top rear of the receiver, will open the dust cover and retract the mock bolt carrier to allow access to the rotary HOP-up adjuster. This is the latest G&G HOP-up unit design for the M4/AR-15, providing tactile clicks with each adjustment increment and holding its setting more effectively compared to the older gear-style HOP-up unit. The pre-installed HOP-up bucking is G&G's green cold-resistant bucking, a superb bucking which will provide consistent HOP-up performance all year round. With your HOP-up adjustment complete, you can hit the "ping-pong paddle" style bolt release catch on the centre left of the receiver to send the mock bolt home with a satisfying "clank".
On top of the receiver, we can find a detachable carry handle made from aluminium with an integral rear iron sight. The rear sight offers two apertures for aiming, a fine aperture for accurate semi-auto fire and a wider aperture for full auto fire and low-light engagements. Windage adjustment is provided by a dial on the right side and requires no tools to get your zero perfect. The carry handle is a big part of the T91 look, but if you're running an optic, you'll be happy to learn that beneath the carry handle, we have a 20mm Picatinny receiver rail. To remove the carry handle, simply loosen the thumb screws on the right side and lift it free.
The pistol grip is a refined "A2" based design with a reprofiled finger ridge and a wider lower section, filling out the hand comfortably while reducing fatigue-causing hot spots. This grip is far more comfortable than the A2 in our opinion, being more similar in feel to aftermarket ergonomic pistol grips than the marmite A2.
At the rear, we're equipped with a 3-position M4/AR-15 buffer tube, allowing you to extend or shorten the length of pull to suit your body type and loadout. This 3-position tube is unique to the T91 but accepts practically any M4/AR-15 aftermarket sliding stock, just in case you fancy a style-up. The pre-installed stock is a unique design based around the 1990s era M4A1 "CAR-15" stock, but features an angled butt plate for ease of use with body armour vests and plate carriers. The stock also features a "footman loop" sling slot, ideal for conventional rifle slings.
Inside, the T91 is equipped with the usual G&G GT Advanced series goodness, including the mid-life G2 MOSFET and ETU, a padded piston head, double O-ring nozzle and quick change spring guide. The V2 gearbox shell is significantly reinforced along the spine, and the 18:1 steel gearset runs on 8mm brass bushings for smooth, friction-free performance.
The impressive 25K Orange IRFIT motor from the ARP series provides an impressive trigger response and a killer rate of fire, especially when run on an 11.1V LiPo battery. The G2 MOSGET is the more compact later-life upgrade model, offering 3 or 5-round burst fire modes and pre-cocking to crank the trigger response up to near-instantaneous!
If you're looking for a platform which stands out visually but is an easy transition from an M4/AR-15 platform, the G&G Armament GTW91-P T91 Assault Rifle AEG is one to watch. A rock-solid build with all the realistic details and performance to rival the best, the T91 is the ideal primary for the military-leaning skirmisher who likes a unique primary!

Special Instructions
The G&G Armament T91 features what is known as a "Stop firing on empty" or "magazine cutoff" function. This means that the AEG cannot be dry-fired like a standard AEG without holding down the catch inside the magazine well.
The original magazine supplied with the T91 will feed until empty and stop the AEG from firing when ammo runs out. With standard M4/AR-15 magazines, the T91 will continue to fire when the magazine is empty but will not fire with the magazine removed. You don't need to do anything to recommence firing; simply insert a loaded magazine and you're ready to rock.
