Full description

Description

The Giant Power G6AC is a professional smart charger designed to charge, discharge and monitor practically any battery type, ranging from the relatively low-voltage batteries used for Airsoft to the much bigger batteries used for R/C hobbies, Drones and other electronics applications.

The output power of the G6AC is 50 Watts, meaning it can charge your batteries much more quickly than standard balance chargers, with the option to choose fast charging to get your batteries ready for game day double time or storage charging so you can keep your lithium batteries healthy when stored for long durations.

The G6AC is capable of charging LiPo, Li-Fe, Li-Ion, Ni-Cad and NiMH batteries as well as Pb (Lead-Acid) batteries, meaning it can be used for almost any application and any battery time used for Airsoft guns. Lithium batteries ranging from 7.4V (2S) all the way up to 22.2V (6S) can be charged, as well as Ni-Cad/NiMH batteries of up to 18V (15S). The balance ports are located on the right side of the charger and as always, if you are charging any lithium battery (LiPo, Li-Fe, Li-Ion) this port will need to be connected during the charging process.

Built into the G6AC are various safety features designed to minimise the potential for user error. The "AUTO" current mode allows you to set the upper limit of charge current to avoid damaging your battery. The capacity limit function will terminate charging if the charging capacity exceeds the limit of what your battery can handle. Internal temperature sensors will activate the internal cooling fan and cut off the charger if it detects your battery becoming too hot and you can also set a time limit for charging so your charger cuts off before any potential issues arise.

The G6AC also has the ability to store up to 5 different settings so you can quickly get your most commonly used batteries on charge without the need to program the charger every time. These settings can be used for either charging or discharging and are a great time saver if you charge the same battery types repeatedly.

As with other professional smart chargers, the G6AC is very much a charger for those who are willing to read the manual front to back and those with several batteries to charge each game day will get the most out of its feature set. As with any battery charger, we advise that you don't ever leave the G6AC charging while unattended and that charging is carried out in a fire-safe area, preferably a Battery Charging Bag

Size guide

Airsoft Battery should only be charged with the chargers as they are specifically designed to work with the specific voltages required by the battery.

Different battery types have different chemical configurations, and require certain chargers to charge them. Charging a battery with the wrong charger can cause damage to the battery and charger, and can cause fires and further damage. Please ensure that before charging you double check that you are using the correct charger.

If your charger supports multiple battery types always ensure that it is on the correct settings before starting the charge.

We always recommend charging LiPos and other batteries in a charging bag.
