This gas non-blowback revolver is styled after the real steel Colt Python, probably the most recognisable modern revolver, often seen in movies and TV shows in the hands of heroes and villains alike.

This revolver functions very realistically, offering a double/single-action trigger, a rotating cylinder and removable shells. The HFC Python is fantastic fun as a backyard plinker, testing your skills on the skirmish field or being the iconic sidearm for a cowboy-themed loadout.

Starting at the front, we have the iconic Python-style front end. This is what makes the HG-132B the perfect stand-in for Hollywood's favourite revolver, the Colt Python, matching the front end look almost perfectly.

Moving rearwards, we come to the frame, which is constructed from lightweight and durable polymer. It includes a moving cylinder which rotates. To open the cylinder and get to the shells, you can push forward on the textured cylinder release, and the cylinder will swing out to the left side. The cylinder release also functions as a hidden trigger lock safety by pushing it rearwards, giving you an added level of security when the revolver is stored.

To extract the shells, release the cylinder and push the cylinder axis pin; this will eject all the shells. A single BB is loaded into the front of each shell, giving you 6 shots before reloading.

With the cylinder loaded, you can push it back into place in the frame, making the revolver ready for shooting. Cocking the hammer will prime the trigger in "single action" mode, giving you a shorter trigger pull for more accurate shots.

You can also pull the trigger without cocking the hammer, which will rotate the cylinder, cock the hammer and fire the shot all in rapid succession in what is known as "double action".

The hammer and trigger are both constructed from alloy to provide extra strength where needed, and the hammer is a "spur" type with a textured section on the top for improved gripping qualities. The hammer even has a realistic mock firing pin, which extends when it is cocked.

Moving downwards, the grip has comfortable finger ridges on the front and dot-textured panels on either side for perfect wet-weather handling.

The gas fill valve is located on the base of the grip. Invert the revolver when you fill it with gas. You should get a decent number of shots from a full gas fill thanks to the non-blowback action, which is extremely gas-efficient.

We recommend standard green gas (NUPROL 2.0, VORSK V6, etc.) for regular use and red gas or VORSK V8 for colder weather.
