Description
An innovative take on the 40mm Airsoft MOSCART shell, the KRYTAC KT40 40mm MOSCART Gas Grenade Shell offers significant performance advantages over standard MOSCARTs, higher reliability and an inventive adjustable choke system which allows you to optimise performance for a wide spread at close range or a tighter spread at long range. This is a serious game-changer for grenadiers, putting an extra tool in your toolbox for engaging multiple targets at long ranges.
Like most other MOSCARTs, the gas fill valve is on the top of the KT40, requiring the shell to be placed on its base, and that your gas canister is inverted to fill. The BB fill port is next to the gas fill valve, with the sliding choke adjustment toggle alongside. When filling the KT40, we advise wearing eye protection throughout the process and filling the gas before loading the BBs. When loading BBs, we recommend using a speed loader, as 150 is quite a few to load manually!
When fired in a MOSCART launcher, the KT40 will dispense all 150 BBs in a righteous cloud of fury or a laser-straight beam of BBs, depending on your choke setting. FPS is quoted as approximately 175 using 0.20g BBs and standard green gas. The KT40 is designed for broad compatibility with a variety of launchers available on the market, from M203 to AG36, EGLM and even the incredible NUPROL Matrix and ICS MGL multi-shot launchers. Naturally, its perfect partner is the exceptional KRYTAC KT320 launcher!
Designed strictly for standard green gas and summer gas, it is essential that you don't use red or black gas, CO2 or HPA with the KT40 to keep pressure within its design parameters. Another essential is to never shoot anything other than polymer 6mm Airsoft BBs; as much as standard MOSCARTs can get away with some funky loads, the precise internal design of the KT40 means it's strictly for Airsoft BBs only.
