Description
The KRYTAC KT40 40mm MOSCART Gas Grenade Shell offers a high-capacity alternative to standard MOSCART shells, with an adjustable choke system that lets you tune the spread of the BBs to suit different engagement distances.
The KT40 holds approximately 150 polymer 6mm Airsoft BBs and is designed to fire them in a single shot. The adjustable choke can be moved to change the BB spread, allowing you to use a wider pattern when engaging targets at close range or tighten the spread when engaging targets further away.
Using standard green gas or summer gas and 0.20g BBs, the KT40 is rated at approximately 175 FPS. The shell is designed specifically for gas pressures within its operating parameters, so red gas, black gas, CO2 and HPA must not be used.
Both the gas fill valve and BB loading port are positioned on the top of the shell for straightforward filling. We recommend filling the gas before loading the BBs and using a speed loader to make loading all 150 BBs easier.
The KT40 is constructed from aluminium alloy and includes a safety cap to help prevent accidental activation when the shell is being carried or stored. As with any gas-powered MOSCART shell, always wear appropriate eye protection when filling and handling the shell, and keep the front of the shell pointed in a safe direction.
The KT40 is designed for use with standard 40mm MOSCART launchers. However, compatibility can vary between launchers, so we recommend checking your launcher before purchasing.
