Description
The Krytac SilencerCo Maxim 9 GBB Pistol Holster is designed specifically for, you guessed it, the delicious new Krytac Maxim 9 GBB pistol. If you, like many of us, are grabbing one as soon as they come in, make sure you get a holster otherwise you will struggle to carry this funky-shaped but ultra-slick new pistol!
This holster is a level 2 holster, meaning retention is provided by a screw in the base of the holster instead of the usual push button used with level 3 holsters. The direction to turn the screw to tighten or loosen the retention is indicated around the screw hole, and it requires an Allen key to adjust. This means your draw is as quick as you need it to be, and for those who like to sprint and throw themselves around, it can be tightened down for added security.
Tightening the adjustment screw on the base of the holster will keep your Maxim 9 more secure at the cost of a slightly slower draw, and loosening the screw will reduce the retention and allow for a scorchingly quick draw to target execution but is not recommended if you are an aggressive or clumsy skirmisher!
The SilencerCo Maxim 9 GBB Pistol Holster has a belt mount built in which is suitable for any belt of under 2 inches (5cm) in width, meaning the vast majority of Airsoft belts and everyday belts are compatible using the included inserts. If you are carrying your Maxim 9 as a sidearm, this is one of the few ways to holster the pistol without having a custom holster made!
