Description

Whether you've always wanted a beefier MP5 or a pint-sized G3, the LCT LK-53A3 M-LOK AEG with ASTER II Bluetooth® ETU is an ideal primary. Just be prepared for the weight, as this is one seriously hefty piece of kit!

At the front, we find an HK-style birdcage flash hider mounted to 14mm CCW male threads. Both the flash hider and steel outer barrel are finished beautifully for an authentic look, while the common thread pattern allows easy installation of suppressors or tracer units.

Moving rearwards, we come to the steel front sight block, finished in gun metal grey with a separate sight post insert for impressive realism. Unlike cheaper HK-style replicas with cast one-piece sights, the LK53A3 gets the details right. A steel sling point on the left side is ready for an HK hook sling and can be paired with the rear mounting points for a practical two-point setup.

Following the front sight, we come to the handguard and cocking tube assembly. The handguard is CNC machined from aluminium and boasts M-LOK slots at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock, with additional offset slots ideally positioned for a tactical flashlight which mounts directly to M-LOK. The M-LOK handguard allows M-LOK accessories to be directly mounted, but you can also use 20mm Picatinny rail adapters for M-LOK if you prefer 20mm-compatible accessories.

The battery compartment is inside the handguard, accessible by pushing the pin in the front sight assembly through. With this done, pull the handguard forward slightly, and it should lift free. Inside, you’ll find a Deans battery connector to which you mount your chosen battery. We recommend a 7.4V 1300mAh LiPo in Flat Nunchuck configuration, but the battery compartment is rather spacious and should fit most crane-style and buffer tube style LiPos with ease.

The stamped steel cocking tube is welded directly to the stamped steel receiver, just like the real firearm. This level of authenticity is exceptionally rare amongst HK-style Airsoft replicas and means the LK53A3 is more than capable of handling your most enthusiastic HK slaps thanks to its steel charging handle.

Locking the charging handle into the notch retracts the mock bolt carrier and exposes the rotary HOP-up unit. Compatible with standard AEG HOP rubbers, nubs and barrels, the HOP-up allows easy tuning for different BB weights and improved long-range performance.

The stamped steel receiver features notches for HK-style claw mounts, while the renowned rotary diopter rear sight offers four apertures for varying ranges and lighting conditions. The trigger group houses S-E-F marked fire controls, an ambidextrous paddle magazine release and an enlarged trigger guard, all built with the same realistic attention to detail.

At the rear, a modern 1913/20mm Picatinny stock interface pairs with a slim side-folding stock inspired by real steel "Kate Moss" designs. QD sling sockets on both sides and a steel folding mechanism make the setup practical, lightweight and ideal for tight environments.

Internally, the LK53A3 M-LOK is built around a version 2 gearbox with 18:1 steel gears, 9mm bushings, a polycarbonate piston with a full steel tooth rack, CNC aluminium compression parts and a steel quick-change spring guide. A 22,000 RPM motor, low-resistance wiring and Tokyo Marui-spec compatibility provide excellent performance and upgrade potential.

This version is equipped with the advanced Gate ASTER II Bluetooth® ETU, allowing programmable fire modes, trigger sensitivity adjustment and extensive tuning through the Gate Control Station app. Combined with LCT's outstanding external build quality, the ASTER II makes the LK53A3 a truly premium package.

These table can be used as a reference to see if the BB weight you are using will be over acceptable Joulage limits at some Airsoft Sites in the UK. To check if the weight can be used chrono your weapon using the BB you intend to use, and then compare it to the chart.

FPS, Power and Joule Limits can vary from site to site, so please get in touch with where you're going to play with in advance to avoid disappointment.

Suggested limits are based on Joulage Limit rules used Halo Mill: Proving Grounds, with a 350fps limit for Automatic Replicas, 400fps for Semi-Automatic Replicas, and 500fps for Bolt Action Replicas.
