Description
If you've got high performance standards and the knowledge to back it up, the PolarStar Airsoft F2™ HPA Engine Conversion Kit is the HPA engine for you! A dual solenoid engine packaged with everything you need to complete the build, the F2™ is the offspring of the incredible Fusion™ engine, which put PolarStar firmly on the Airsoft map!
Being a dual solenoid design, the F2™ allows for tuning of both the air volume and feeding speed, along with several other fine-tuning options via the included digital FCU. The FCU can be programmed for various fire mode settings and tuning options, including burst modes, anti-stiction mode, rate of fire adjustment and semi-auto limiter, to name but a few. Programming is super easy thanks to the built-in LCD screen and joystick, allowing you to adjust mid-skirmish to account for changing conditions or an alternative battlefield role.
The advantage of a Dual Solenoid engine is that the nozzle and poppet valve are independently adjustable, providing unparalleled control over loading time and air volume. Another edge the F2™ has over its single-solenoid brethren is the ability to operate in a true "closed bolt" mode, as well as "AEG" mode.
Like the Fusion™ engine, the poppet valve of the F2™ is a single-piece design for maximum reliability, but unlike the Fusion, the F2 can operate at lower input pressures and requires less air volume to function, providing more shots per fill along with general efficiency improvements.
The robust design of the F2™ allows for an operating pressure of between 45 and 145 PSI, allowing velocity adjustment from CQB-friendly to downright-deadly DMR territory. You won't need to swap nozzles to adjust, either; just vary the input PSI via your regulator to adapt your build for the current mission.
Compatibility-wise, the F2™ can be installed in a wide variety of platforms with the correct nozzle and the right expertise. By default, the version 2 gearbox variant is set up for M4/AR-15s and AR-9s, while the version 3 variant is equipped with the necessary parts for installation in AK-47/74 AEGs. Upgrades and Downgrades should only be undertaken by experienced players, or Airsoft Technicians. Please note, changing any internal parts of a weapon voids its warranty unless done in-house by our staff.
Please ensure that when fitting parts the part purchased is the correct part, as once a part has been fitted we cannot accept return.
We do know that players love to tinker, so we're here to give you help should you require it, and if needed you can get in touch with our workshop for more help!
Unique Parts
Please note that some parts may be unique to a specific brand of weapon. For example: Parts for an ASG M4A1 may not fit an ICS M4A1.
Parts from the same brand typically have a high chance of fitting, though be warned, some replicas use unique parts, so please ensure the part will fit before you attempt to fit it.
