This replica silencer is based on the real steel Dead Air Wolverine, a modern suppressor design inspired by the real steel PBS-1 suppressor of the Soviet era. By default, the Wolverine mounts to 14mm CCW male barrel threading present on the vast majority of Airsoft rifles, but its design means you have more options than just that!
The Wolverine keeps the utilitarian aesthetic of the original PBS-1 but adds modularity into the mix in the form of interchangeable front apertures and a modular collar capable of being adapted with aftermarket parts to mount to either 24mm CW Russian threading or Dead Air Keymo muzzle devices.
Inside, we are treated to a tracer module, ideal for adding an instinct aiming advantage in low-light environments. Made to an incredible standard from 6000 series aluminium using CNC machining, this suppressor replicates the real steel Dead Air Wolverine, a modern suppressor design inspired by the Soviet era PBS-1 suppressor, maintaining the look while packing in loads of modern features!
Like the original PBS-1, the Wolverine sports a knurled exterior, which both makes it easy to mount and remove and provides easy access to the internals. As it comes, the Wolverine mounts to 14mm CCW male barrel threads, but its rear collar is a removable modular piece, allowing you to switch it out for an aftermarket 24mm CW Russian threaded collar or a Keymo QD collar. The Keymo QD collar allows the Wolverine to mount to any Dead Air Keymo muzzle device, perfect for those cutting-edge US civilian tactical builds!
The front aperture is also removable and can be switched out for any front cap from the PTS Dead Air Sandman ecosystem, meaning if you decide to install a muzzle flash tracer module, you can use an open aperture from the Sandman lineup for a beastly muzzle flash effect.
Inside this, the Wolverine Tracer, we are treated to a compact tracer module which can be accessed through the front aperture. With the module removed, you'll find the activation switch on the rear. Be warned, the tracer module is indexed at the front using a massive spring, and there is potential that the module will be launched out once the aperture is removed. We suggest having your hand over the front while removing the aperture, or have your baseball catcher's mitt ready!
