If you want to record high-quality Airsoft footage without spending too much, the Runcam Helmet Camera 2 Recorder for ARC Rail/Velcro is a slick choice. The biggest improvement in the Gen.2 version is its low-light performance, significantly beating the previous Helmet Camera and even the 4K version. If you skirmish in dark CQB sites, you'll now be able to record those near pitch-black encounters.

Able to record your adventures in 1920x1080 resolution at 25, 30, 50 or 60 FPS (frames per second) to be previewed in real-time via the RunCam app, the Helmet Camera 2 is uniquely compact and lightweight, with a design inspired by real steel "Sidewinder Stalk" helmet-mounted navigation lights to maintain the prerequisite tactical style. If you're running a FAST helmet, this side-mounted configuration allows you to keep your NVG mount clear for other accessories while maintaining a low profile compared to standard-format action cams.

Your footage is recorded onto your choice of micro SD card (not included), supporting up to 512GB cards. RunCam recommends using a micro SD card of at least U3 speed to guarantee compatibility. To commence recording, simply push the sliding switch on the side of the unit forward and to cut, simply slide the switch rearwards.

Recording status is indicated with a red light around the lens, and turning the camera either on or off will provide a vibration, a great feature to avoid uncertainty and disappointment when you find out that an awesome Airsoft moment was not captured on film!

The Helmet Camera is powered by an 18650 rechargeable battery (included), which can also be replaced, making it great for long-term recording, allowing you to keep spare batteries on hand so the show can go on! The battery can be recharged via the included USB Type-C cable, which can also be used to transfer your footage to a PC for editing. Please note that when connected, the Helmet Camera 2 will be recognised as a USB drive, but won't be recognised if an SD card is not installed.
